hmmmm, you may be on to something.  Isn't Lincoln Park from Chicago?  We all know how much Ronnie loves Chi-town, The Windy City, City in a Garden, Gem of the Prairie, Second City, City of the Big Shoulders, Packingtown..........coincidence?  I think so!!

Wah? Linkin Park is great, and the rap side of its "okay" i guess. Let me guess your into 1980's metal or something and you cant accept this band? I dont care if this is a false rumor its just something that intruiged me.

I heard that one time, Ron was a deep-sea fisherman working the islands of the Caribbean.  Late one night, Ron hooked a giant shark (much like the giant shark in the movie Jaws).  A regular man would have struggled and strained for hours to bring the monster down.  Ron lazily ashed his cigar as he reeled the beast closer and closer to the tiny boat.  The shark leapt out of the water, row upon row of teeth glinting in the pale moonlight.  He thrashed and thrashed, all the while Ron calmly worked his cigar.  Puff, puff, reel.  Puff, puff, reel.  The shark quickly tired, and as Ron stubbed out the end of his cigar, the shark came closer and spoke – “Many have tried.  Many have failed.  They were all delicious.  You have bested me.  You can haul me ashore as a trophy… Or… Or, I can grant you one wish.  Anything.”  Ron thought for a moment, and whispered something to The Shark.  The Shark nodded.  Ron cut the line, and The Shark disappeared under the dark water.  Moments later, The Shark, very nearly without a sound, flung himself up and over Ron’s fishing boat, dropped something and began circling the boat.  Ron bent over, and as he rose he exhaled and sighed… “Now, that’s a good cigar.  Thanks Sharky.  Now get the fuck out of here.  I see you again, and I’m going home with a shark overcoat.”

I don't know bout Chester Bennington but I did a whole thread about Fez and his kid (Jonah Bobo = stage name that Fez has used i.e my mother's hany-man named bobo).I even put their pictures up side by side andthey look exactly alike.

I feel like having a nephew in that shit ass band is Ron's only flaw. All of Ron's musical interest points to not liking this band either.  Although i could be wrong. When Dave brought in Nuetral Milk Hotel i don't think he liked them.  I guess no one is perfect.

I like tons of music in almost every genre, and I would have to say that Linkin Park is terrible!  That dude's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and i can put up with a lot of voices that people think are bad or annoying.

I hate both. Most 80's metal was really before my time, so I got to miss Dokken. Although hate might be too strong a word to describe the way I feel about Linkin Park. More like I don't really care if they exist or not. Their vocals make me want to go at my carotid arteries with rusty scissors. Although I think Chester's vocals sound a little like Ron when he's pretending to be angry or excited.
