View Full Version : Cemetery in Tuxedo, NJ - Why police guards there?

<p>I was driving through Tuxedo, NY yesterday and we passed the big cemetery on Rt. 17. I saw that at the entrace to it there were two cop SUVs stationed outside of it and there was a guard house as well.</p><p> </p><p>What makes this cemetery so special that it needs that kind of security? </p>

Well your title is wrong. I doubt anything makes that necc, but Tuxedo Park, which is inside Tuxedo, walled itself up so that it was seperate from the rest of the town cause its nicer, so you might have been in Park and they are just like that<br />

You go past a church and right after that is a cemetery. Cemetery has cops outside and guard house and stuff. </p>

Yes, technically thats Tuxedo. But the center of Tuxedo is called Tuxedo Park, it's an area of much nicer houses that decided to put a big wall around itself and call it Tuxedo Park. It's not technically another town, and I have a feeling that cemetary is in Tuxedo Park. If that's the case, they prob have the guard shack cause they think they are better then everyone else, which is why they built the wall<br />
