Why do posters leave the board?

<p>The <a href="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/viewmessages.cfm/Forum/71/Topic/52195/page/Posters_you_wish_that_would_come_back_to_RF_net" target="_self">Posters you wish would come back to RonFez.net</a> thread caused me to think about why we haven't seen some of these posters in a while.</p><p>I mean, I understand board fights and vacations play in to this, but there are times when a poster (myself included) kind of disappears.&nbsp; Sometimes its for only a while and sometimes its forever.</p><p>For me, I became a stay at home dad for essentially 2 years.&nbsp; My days were busy with childcare and my evenings were busy with either my computer business, catching up on chores, or just trying to catch some rest.&nbsp; This also coincided with the move to XM which meant that I no longer had easy access to either live or &quot;time shifted&quot; feeds.&nbsp; </p><p>I now have a daytime job again as we have someone that comes to our house to watch the boys.&nbsp; I work a block away from where we live, so I still have good quality time with my family.</p><p>But now that I have more time throughout the day, I'm back able to visit the board.</p><p>So, why did you leave the board?</p><p>Why are you able to come back?</p>

<p>Not long after Ron and Fez left New York for D.C. my participation on this board slowed to practically nil.&nbsp; It didn't feel the same not being able to listen to the show with any regularity.&nbsp; </p><p>Since they've been on XM I've been as addicted to this place as ever. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
