Today Fez was talking about his 1 year heart attack anniversary being Halloween. That reminded me about the first time I tuned into these two. It was on WJFK, Halloween, 2002. I was working a job that night in Northern Va., (Fez's eventual burial location), and "Supa- stah" was a guest. They were in NYC preparing to head out to a party after the show, and were fielding calls on costumes and the diverse ways the holiday was celebrated in various parts of the country. Fez's inability to say costume ("cosh-tume") was scrutinized, and they were in top form riffing off the callers comments. I think they had a "comedy pyramid, comedy pyramid" going that night too. I called in and got on the air, I was immediately hooked. Where were you, what was the topic, and what converted you into the Ron and Fez world of comedy?

I was driving home from school and they were talking about old games that people played when they were kids. Brought back a lot of memories. Then all it took was Iris and Al Dukes and I was hooked.
I started listening when WNEW went all talk and there show was known as Ron and Fez dot com. It was difficult back then because they were yhrown on at around 11 pm. I worked a couple of late days back then and was able to catch some shows, the comedy styles were pretty much the same as now except without the curses.

Winter 2001, when an injury blinded me in one eye, and I was left bedridden for weeks, with nothing to do but sit in the dark and listen to the radio. I wish I was kidding... but then again, maybe I don't.

I don't remember when it was, but I remember Joe Poo knocking out Al Dukes a little while after the first time I heard them. I didn't really listen on a regular basis until about 6 months before they left WJFK.

I can't remember the date, but it was during the Dot Com days. They had Shae Marks on, former web model. If you know my tastes, and what Shae used to look like before she "came to her senses", you know why I listened with rapt attention.

My first impression of Fez is that he sounded like a gay Christopher Russo.

Ron's humor grew on me, and I became the fan I am today.

Shortly after they wento on the air on WNEW. There was a hilarious promo on where they had a fake guest on from some cereal web site. I listened that night and was instantly hooked. To this day, I don't get people who "don't get" the show.

I just remember being hooked from day one and trying to get my buddies to switch over from Howard. The old shows were slightly different format, but still great. Ronnie was much more of a second chair guy but he worked great with Diaz. Fez was just a rookie back then but you could see he had talent (the Nature Boy was at least a weekly occurrence and Bobby the Brain imitations were common). They had a great song parody guy and they totally corrupted the sweet fiance (Vicki) of their producer. Yea, those were some great times. I remember PaulO being around, but I don't remember hearing about GailO. For some reason, I have a vague memory about PaulO taking a strap-on in a place it doesn't belong.

After the Tampa R&R show with Diaz disbanded, I remember the boys had another "Ronnie" on the show and I seem to remember them even moving down to the Ft. Lauderdale area. I still listened out of loyalty to Ronnie and Fez, but it wasn't the same. Eventually, our local radio stopped carrying the shows.

About two years ago, I was remembering how great the shows were and I found my Let the Puppies Breathe video. I started wondering what happened to the boys. I did a little looking and found this site. I felt like I hit the lottery when I found the file library. I couldn't download segments fast enough. The real winning ticket came when the boys made the jump to XM. I was worried about R&F without Diaz but the show is even better now! Ronnie was always hilarious but he has turned into a legitimate broadcaster as well. Fez is still great as always, but I definitely see more changes in Ronnie's on air persona.

I had listened to them a few times after OnA on XM, and I guess I really didnt get the show. Then one day a buddy of mine told me to turn them on. When I turned it on, they had crazy lady from Westboro Baptist Church on the phone and it had me rolling. Ever since then I have rarely miss a show.

I first heard them in the Winter of 2002 on an AM station in Portland, OR which also carried O&A. Due to the content I initially heard, I thought it was a wrestling show. I also thought it was awful. I still think the show is awful....awfully GOOD!

Fall 1996.

I actually thought of those days on Friday listening to the Power Hour with ESD. Paul-O calls in and ESD was being rude (as to be expected)...Paul-O chimes in with the line from hell "So you're the new me". Needless to say if you heard R&R in FLA....that's really the funniest shit Paul has ever said.

Ron and Fez Dot Com... Show #1. I was driving home from work between 12:00 and 1:00 AM, and heard them from the second hour on. I immediately liked them even better than O & A. The show was actually quite raunchy back then, they used to get away with alot more on commercial radio. Especially at night. Boy, how times have changed. O & A spend most of their Free FM show commenting on news stories or talking about their ratings.
I didn't get to listen to them till they came to Xm. (not everywhere in the country has gotten to hear them before.) I think one of the first shows I heard was the 8 year old discussion.

The first show I ever heard was about a month after 9/11. It was my first ever visit to New York and I was just flicking around the stations. I remember been totally hooked after hearing that the phone screener had come down with a bad case of the Anthrax. I beleive it was Billy Staples.

From then on I listened to two more shows before I went home. I would get my cousin in New Jersey to record the shows and put them on a CD for me to listen to on my computer. Of course I didn't know about any kind of underground syndication in them days. It would have made things a whole lot easier.

.com days were on too late for me. I listened a little, but not long enough to get it. Once they went 7 to 11, I was hooked. After that, 7 to 11 every day, a good portion of JFK, and now XM.

My problem now with XM is that they are on during work, and sometimes I have to work. I wind up missing chunks of show. I do my best to catch up with the weekend replays.

Big Ass 203. 7p in the east, 4p in the west.

There was about two weeks where i discovered O&A on XM and dug them real briefly. I would download their shows online.

I heard that Ron and Fez had recently joined them on the XM station. So i give them a shot, dl the show (one of their earlier xm shows) and had it in my head that it was a sports talk show, because they started their show talking about the football games that were played on the sunday (must have been a monday show), so I seriously had it in my head that it was a sport talk show, which I wasn't really that thrilled about. I judged them too quickly, and turned it off ten minutes into the show.

So later that week, I decided to give them another shot. It was the show where Ron was talking about beating up 9 year olds. I couldn't believe how quick Ron was, and I liked Fez and what he added to the show, and how they interacted with eachother. The sense of humor was so great and the fact that they kept the morning zoo elements(laughing into the mics, no dumb promotions, etc) out of the show is what made me realized how better they were than any other show out there.

Since then I've listened to every single xm show of theirs, and even went back and listened to some of their earlier stuff. It's the only show i listen to regularly.

The very first time I heard R&F I was travelling for work, I live in Mass and was working in NJ for about 3 months in the Spring of 2001. I heard the show a few times and liked it, but I really became a big fan when they came to XM. I've been a huge O&A fan since the Boston days, but now I go back and fourth on which show I like better.

found em on xm in February when I got a roadie for my car. Ronnie was yelling at Earl. I realized the genius that is Ronnie B. instantly. Frequently since then I catch myself saying, "on my favorite radio show, Ron n Fez, ..." and i am constantly humming perrynoid songs. Today, I had "Gail. Gail. Gail, you're gonna have to kill Paul." running through my head. This show had me at hello (but not in a gay Tom Cruise way.)

April or May 2002 the night before Al went on the date in Central Park with Stalker Patti. I initially thought they were a music w/ talk show (I guess kind've like a morning zoo setup) because they had played an Airsick song about 10 minutes into my listening. I never heard any full songs on the show again.

i'm not sure what bit i heard first... i got into O&A when they were on the XM premium channel. stupidly, i was a stern fan for most of my life. a friend of mine kept pushing O&A on me, sending old mp3s. then my dad got 2 XM radios to try out (he's in the media) - i got one, and since everything was included, we got O&A even though they were on premium. somewhere down the road, when R&F were on at 11am, i started listening to them. i was a fan within like a day, no kidding. the way they play off each other is great, earl rules and dave has his moments. so i've been listening since like january of this year, thereabouts, but i have gigs of old material on my computer thanks to this site. now i try not to miss a show, even if it means catching the 12am replay. recently, as you can tell by my post #, i joined the site. i'm not on wackbag or FBA, only here. so that has to say something. love the buddays.

wanted to edit this to say how i used to listen to R&F during my lunch break at my old job. i usually went on break from 1-2pm, so i'd catch the last hour (when they were on 11-2). i work free lance now, so sometimes i go in at 2:30... i catch most of the show.

I had just gotten XM and Ron and Fez was the first thing I heard. The bit that was playing as Fez singing "I'm Too Sexy", which I thought was incredibly stupid. I didn't listen to the show again for at least three or four months, but once I did, I was hooked. Also, I recently heard that bit again and it was hilarious.

I used to listen to R&F if I was out at night driving after O&A's show was over (WNEW). I fucking HATED ron and fez. I mean, I really didn't get what the fuck was so funny about "the show with the REALLY gay guy."

I caught them about once a month and really never found anything worth listening to. Every now and then I'd get a chuckle, but I really was hoping a "more talented" show would replace R&F.

Then I got XM when O&A came back. They brought back Ron and Fez. I was in the car a lot during the day and would be pissed when I'd miss O&A. Somehow, and I have no fucking clue what turned me around... I think it was just being forced to listen because I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me and it was noon... but now I like to call R&F "THE Best Conversation on the radio." I can't stand missing the show and am actually saving up for an XM device with recording capability so I can listen to every show in its entirety.

I got on the air once too... but fucking choked like a bitch.

When they were on WNEW at night. I'd listen to O & A on my way to classes, and Ron and Fez were on after. I didn't like them at first--- I actually preferred Don and Mike. It wasnt' until I heard Fezzie talking about comic books and wrestling that I realized that this was the radio show for me.
