walking in the city over the last year, i have noticed one thing that
now stands out so bad. women walk with one arm holding their
purse, and the other arm swinging back and forth. the swinging
arm goes way back and forth, carving out a huge arc. it actually
makes it hard to walk near women, cause their arms are going
crazy. all just in the name of walking down the street, in the
subway, on the stairs, etc. walking up the stairs behind a woman,
you are likely to get whacked in the face with an out-of-control arm
swing.

i can't stand it. there is no reason for this madness.
every woman does it. guys don't do it. i've been following
this phenomenon for a year now. it is insane. i wonder if
its one of those things people don't notice, but then once you point it
out, its so painfully obvious. like the arrow in the fedex label.

its pretty easy to spot. the arm goes from about 40 degrees back,
to 45 degrees foward. its very noticeable. then watch dudes
walking around. little or no arm movement.

one arm holding the purse, the other arm getting thrown around like a weapon. pure madness.
