i believe it started on the basketball court but i could be wrong... when we were kids it was a common phrase you said to your defender when you sank the shotwe used to call a "walk" , "palm" , and "carry" which do not exist in the game of basketball we know today... guys in the NBA take trains to the basket and never get calledthat was another one "why don't you take a train next time" was commonedit: this was early 70's
