And somehow doing the Letterman show was the "biggest thing ever" when they did it. It's funny how that works.

how many jokes can he get out of that trip to the furniture store?

that wasn't bad. i think the leno appearance was better

Generally I don't care for Norton and I thought he came off pretty well. Good work.

I could not get passed how much weight he lost. He is half the size he was on Lucky Louie. The Aids must be really kicking in.

nice set. I wish he had closed with a new joke instead of the one he used on the couch (?) with leno.

Where the fuck were the plugs?

Dave: "you can catch Jimmy Norton on 92.3 freeFM or on XM Satalite radio"

how fucking hard is that?

I bet they mention that tomorrow

Funny stuff. IRON MAN by Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band was a good call. (but WHO made that call? CBS? Norton? AMERICA WANTS TO KNOW! Hoo tipped the band off to Jim's obsession with satanic rock and rollers - BLACK SABBATH?

Oh I mean the CBS Orchestra .. I guess someone finally figured out that there is nothing really DANGEROUS about Mr. Paul Shaffer other than his 8 inch <strike>cock!</strike>

Nice set. Looks like a young Don Rickles when he smiles

When I think of Leno, the last thing that comes to mind is "edgy". I know his standup is probably different, but his monologues are embarassing. Conan is where it's at.

I echo what people say about Jimmy losing wait. AIDS does work.

Good set by Jimmy. They shafted him on time for a longer set and a promo from Dave.

That was a really strong segment.

PERRYNOID: jimmy had said on o/a that the letterman staff asked him for some favorite songs to walk out to...he told them anything by Sabbath.

makes sense now why so many guests smile and wave to the band...it must always be a "request". never knew they did it that way.

i'm surprised they let him get away with the furniture store joke. i saw him at the cellar working on that bit earlier this summer so to go from that to national TV... weird. what i liked the best was watching him contain his own laughter at how well the performance was going on. he cracked a few smiles but quickly went back into character.
