Today when he was talking with... shit... going to forget who... from here... bleh. Well, when he was talking to a representative from rf.net and was telling him how we represent the show and that PR guys read what we have to say it felt strangely familiar. It really felt like the cool coach who got pissed at something. It was like disapointing your hero.

He has that air of just being amazing at whatever he does. If he is or not doesn't matter. It's that confident swagger and amazing knowledge that sets him apart. He has just as much, if not more knowledge of what he speaks of as Anthony and has a confident, yet inviting personality that makes you want to just be his friend and hang out with the guy.

I've been a rabbid fan of OA for years and have never felt like anything I had to say was worth calling in with (or would be welcomed). I've called RF 3 times in the past month because even though Ronnie can smash you, he is a god damn smooth pro at it and doesn't make you suffer.

He's like the damn tough guy who you know is going to slap you around, but you just want to be in his crew.

Ronnie is my favorite personality on the radio.

you know when they ask that douche bag question, "if you could pick anybody you want to sit at a dinner party for interesting, funny conversation, who would you want? Well the first would jesus christ, the second for me. ted turner, and then our own ron bennington. he and the 4th guest john stewart would be the best. a couple of chicks from sportsbybrooks.com would be the rest. the guy truly makes me laugh everyday. the funny stuff that comes out of his mouth, i.e. eating a steak off a hookers head, knocking up a chick and then telling his mom that it's her problem not his, are just several examples of great comedy. next to howard stern who is still the funniest guy on radio, ron b is a close second, with a huge drop off after these two. i truly believe i would be on some sort of mind elevating, altering drugs, if weren't for these two comedy geniuses.

It's not a terrible thing bc if we put ourselves out there we should be able to take some heat, man or woman. Most of the shit women on the show take heat for also come based on there own revelations, just as it applies to Dave. If you put it out there, it's open season if you ask me. If it's private, don't put it on fucking satellite radio for crying out loud. Nobody expects the show to divulge all their private lives or much of it for that matter. But some people can only fit the show, or create an interest, by putting some things out there that should for all intents and purposes remain private. Funny that with a lot of the women they take a certain approach just to get on the show. Now this doesn't apply to all of them or even most, but Winnie, FBP (fuck its the way she was introduced to the site and show) and some others always center on this one theme. Some are fine with it and have no problem (FBP) realizing that it's just a board joking around with a few assholes.

Hell, as Funk stated, the board usually resembles the attitudes the show itself takes to the guests so there certainly is some cohesion there. Others stay away from that line like TooCute and she definately gets a different level of respect on the board bc of it. Basically it all gets set up by what you put out there about yourself and how you carry yourself on the show. For some it takes lauching into personal issues to get more airtime and others just crave the attention.

I for one love it all and don't really need to be a huge part of the show outside of a few calls when I feel I have something good to add or when they need something for the show like the hockey goal and supplies for the Big Asscapades Show. Most of us have also been Capos, at some show parties and some other independent shows and would love to do so again, but are also apt to keep things we'd like to remain private off the air when they let us into their show. For Dave and Winnie (both who I've met and like a lot) to take things personally on this board is somewhat comical. I'm not saying it's right or my personal approach, but it surely shouldn't be a shock either.

Now I sure as hell do push back when I feel someone is being an ass just to be an ass, but it seems a few vets then become self-righteous and very over the top themselves when these issues come up. Wouldn't it be best just to say your peace and move on, not constantly fight with them on it if they don't seem to be open for an honest discussion? My example would be Missy, Furtherman and others in the XM to WSC thread that just closed. I really didn't think it was a
