Anyone ever order from here? Is it a scam, or what? I must average about two emails and one piece of junk mail per week. I can't imagine ordering meat products through the mail but the pictures do look damn tasty and I think I may have been brainwashed. Right now I can save like 60%, plus get three free gifts. Is it even worth me indulging my curiosity or would I be better off becoming a Scientologist?

Don't bother. I've ordered from them and was less than impressed. Take the money you would have spent to a good butcher and order quality, non-frozen meat.

For me, the best part of the order was creating spooky special effect fog from the dry ice that they use to ship the meat in.

Speaking of which, my boss suggested for my anniversary that I buy steaks from Wegmans... when I explained to her that I put away the BBQ for the year, she suggested I COOK THEM ON A FOREMAN GRILL.

AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The layout of my apartment and the changing weather conditions made me box the grill for the winter.

Long story short, my "backyard" is a uneven but not steep slope about 40 feet long, and I have to keep the grill 20 feet from the building if it's hooked up. It's also a massive wind tunnel that has knocked over the grill several times since the fall has begun, and with Daylight Standard Time, there are no lights in the backyard for me to see where the grill is... it's basically dangerous as hell.

Trust me, I'd love to have the grill ready... but it's hard enough to grill in the summer with the layout of my place, it would be a major problem now.

My Father turned me on to the O'Steaks years ago. Always had good luck and they are very understanding if you're not happy. Good to have around as the backup, and their deals are great.

                                                                        Good Luck

I was born in Lincoln, and we have a little saying about Omaha and their steaks. It's quite inappropriate and implies awful terrible things. I don't very well care for Omaha at all.

I've had omaha steaks. I think they are pretty good. I kinda like going to the butcher though, but as some others said, they are great to keep in the freezer. They are packed very well. Here is a pretty good deal I found on the net.

4 (5 oz.) Filet Mignons
4 (5 oz.) Top Sirloins
4 (4 oz.) Boneless Pork Chops
2 (4.5 oz.) Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crab
8 (3 oz.) Gourmet Franks
4 (4 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers
10 portions Potatoes au Gratin
It also comes with free gift of 6 more burgers, cutlery and a cutting board, for whatever that's worth.

All for $59. To claim it, on the homepage Select Order from Mailing - Enter item# 7819K

I have been happy with every order I have made. They are both a little expensive at times, but when they send you coupons or have sales you get a bargain. Plus sometimes they throw in a dozen or more free hamburgers (real good). Give it a try I think you may really like it.
