so is joe poo the norton of ron and fez? he has been on almost every night since he has come back from his sebaticle...not that this is a bad thing, he is wacky as hell, but does anyone think/know if he will be a new addition? or will he be on for a few weeks then disappear again?

I love both the shows, but I don' think Joe Poo is anywhere near the caliber of Norton. However, if you wanna compare him in the sense that he is there everynight without being a true 3rd memeber, then yes he is playing the part of Norton.

O & A described Norton as an exclamation point to the radio show, they said while they say the stuff you think of, but never say... Norton says the stuff that never even should be thought of.

Joe Poo is little different, in my opinion. Joe adds nice evil one-liners to the conversation that get Fezzy all flustered and Ronny laughing his ass off.

While I would say he is Ron and Fez's exclamation point, he does it in a way that fits the Ron and Fez show, just like Norton does for O&A.

sorry guys but jim norton is the king of one liners. joepoo is a hack, a norton wannabe, thats just my opinion though. Oh and the fake voice, i think its also cheesy, cuz when he talks for more then one line he kinda forgets about the fake voice and starts going into his normal voice, i mean i give him credit because he can actually go on the radio and speak unlike some other "choky" award winners but he needs to work on his act.

I think it's great that Joe Poo is the unofficial third member of the show..he doesn't even get special intro anymore.Anyway i think it's great because he started out like all of us..a fan of the show.He stayed loyal and was consistantly funny and viola he earned his spot. WTG JP

Joe Poo is Joe Poo, Norton is Norton and never the twain they shall meet. You can't compare them to each other, they're separate entities on entirely different shows. It's like comparing Dick Shawn to Jonathan Winters, they're both great comedic geniuses, but they had their own comic style and wit.

Joe Poo has some snappy comebacks, Norton has some snappy comebacks. Norton is 30-something years old, Joe Poo is just out of College.

i love joe poo, he is funnier than norton. norton is sometimes to outrageous, but poo is awesome. the voice makes the act i think.
however i dont like it all that much when ron and fez use joes voice. i think it takes away from joe.

I have known Joe Poo my whole life. Yeah, I remember this one year his girlfriend dumped him when he was 11 years old. He was lonely, afraid, and didn't know what to do. So he started a website. One that he was sure to get all the ladies. Unfortunately the only to reply where sick pedophiles. One time he went out to hopefully meet a girl this time, he ended up meeting his Uncle Freddie at a bowlin' alley. Yeah he never had any luck with the ladies. Joe Poo is good all around, but this thread should be entitled "Norton plays the role of Joe Poo". Poo was around before Norton and kind of went away when WNEW played musical chairs with all the shows... I am glad to hear he is back
