How long does a date last

I am not an 18 year old kid. Was in a couple of serious relationships and I relize I have no idea what the hell I am&nbsp;<font face="Arial" size="2"> doing on a date.&nbsp;&nbsp; My question is how long does a date last?</font>

<p>Good date: About 3-4 hours (it depends on what you do though. Obviously, some things take longer to do.)</p><p>Bad Date:&nbsp;30 min -&nbsp;1 hour&nbsp;(this usually means the person decided immediately they don't like you and gave and excuse to get out of there.)</p><p>Really good date: overnight<br /></p>

Dates should last as long as they're fun.&nbsp; As soon as they start to slow down, you should end it while its on a good note.&nbsp; Don't let it get drawn out and boring.&nbsp; How it begins and ends are the parts that will stick out.<br />

It's plenty of time to find out if you like each other and not too much. Which sounds like easy advice until put into practice.</p><p>I would say most dates that go well either end up the next morning or several hours after you first get together. (ie; you pick her up at 7 and drop her off at 11 or 12) If there seems to be some type of 'emergency' after maybe one hour then you might as well start looking for someone else.</p><p>Good luck.</p>

I think 3 hours is when you know it's going well.&nbsp; If you're both having fun for 3 hours than you're in good shape and can end it when it feels right.&nbsp; If they go less than 2 hours then I start to question why.&nbsp; If it's a first date that goes less than 2 and you go out again for less than 2 then you're out.
