Agreed. How often can you hear a guy burn ever single bridge he has and then try to make nice at the end with a blanket apology that then turns into another bridge burning session.

Great interview.

very entertaining. is it just me or did he curse a lot?

Maybe ESD asked him if wrestling was real or not before he went into the studio. That might have pissed him off.

I completely disagree with you. I'd love if he spent more time on the show, to be quite honest I'm interested in TNA because of this interview.

I'm a little bored of wrestlers proclaiming themselves as the greatest wrestler of all time.

Although somewhat boring, It was nice that the buddies gave Kurt a forum to give his side of the story

If Kurt can do for TNA what he says he can do, I might actually start watchign it. Good interview.

I caught TnA about 2 weeks ago and it really wasn't that bad. I used to be a fan of WWF (back when it was WWF) but it started feeling real silly.

Who knows? TnA might be the new hot thing.

Angle didn't stop talking, but he came in to talk. It really wasn't a big deal. I liked it.

He's so different from when he started. I liked him better as a natural athlete. Now he's just another drugged up dude.

I thought the interview was pretty good...especially the stuff about HHH. The only problem I got with Kurt is that he is on Bubba The Love Sponge's show every week.

ok.. so I TIVO'd the show today and man.. that damn Kurt Angle is a double-talking douche!!! one minute he calls vince a piece of shit then in the next he talks about how much he loves the guy... blah blah blah.. where are his balls? I'll tell you where they are.. he knows that if TNA goes under he's gotta go crawling back to Vince just like everyone else has... Vince will take him back of course but damn.. I've lost a lot of respect for Kurt after today..
you know duuude... I think pain killers and addiction to them are par for the course in wrestlers lives. I think Angles problems go beyond that. Didn't someone imply on the show a week or two ago thatAngle was juicing up and THAT is why he can't work for Vince anymore? Goodbye Cap't. America...our prayers are with you.

if your not a wrestling fan then it makes sense that the interview did nothing for you. at the end i didn't know whether to believe the guy or not and really didn't care.

i did enjoy thy way ronnie defended himself when a caller said he wasn't asking any controversial or hard questions. basically the caller wanted ronnie to call kurt a liar and ronnie told him it's not his place and said it would be vince's place and that vince was welcomed to join the show and give his side.

the global media in general could have taken a lesson from ronnie. to create drama the global media would have called kurt a liar without ever knowing the facts

not sure you can really call it an "interview" per se. it was kind of like a "stream of conciousness from Kurt Angle". some guy posted what Kurt said on a wrestling news site exactly how it came across over the radio and it read like a really bad haiku.

I like Kurt but he seemed like he was high on the show...which is all good by me. I also liked how he threw everyone under the bus.

I heard another radio interview with Kurt very early this morning. He was slurring his words and apologized for being "hungover". And of course he rambled on and on about everything just like he did with the buddies.

I'm guessing Vince & the lawyers made the right move on cutting this dude loose.

BYOBKenobi
11-16-2006, 02:39 PM

Kurt looked like a "good guy" when he first was introduced. He was a real wrestler who had great success. He played the american hero thing off to the point where he was actually turned heel, but he did it all looking clean cut and goody goody.

Now he looks like a juiced up, fake tanned, bald, drug addicted, big bald (from roids)head, big jawed(from roids), maniac. His gimmick is dead and there is nothing separating him from the crowd anymore.

Angle is my favorite wrestler and I can't watch TNA, it's too shitty. The interview was good, though typical of a guy leaving WWE.
Put me down as someone who never "got" wrestling. It bores me to tears. I hate to say it, but when Ron and Fez have a wrestler as a guest I usually flip over to the 70's channel for a few tunes.

Angle really is one of the best to ever do it. I liked hearing his input, although i think he was a bit biased..."Roadd Dogg & Billy Gunn made DX" for anyone who is a WWE fan they know that THAT is ridiculous statement. Even still, Angle is awesome and I will watch TNA more because of him. and it was a great interview
