<p>If you want to leave Long Island (and who doesn't?) you have to drive through NYC.&nbsp; There's almost always hideous traffic.&nbsp; </p><p>Jersey's not a God forsaken island out in the Atlantic Ocean.&nbsp; While we do have beautiful beaches along the Atlantic, you can drive north, south, or west to get away from it all and never touch the city. &nbsp;</p><p>We've got mountains, lakes, and streams aplenty for some great fishing and hiking. &nbsp;</p><p>Long Island has flat farmland, kind of like a mini Indiana. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

I say forget both of them.&nbsp; It all depends on where you grew up.&nbsp; Everyone always likes where they grew up, but It's all just a bunch of junk.&nbsp; <br />
