Going along with the "Long Island vs. New Jersey" topic on the show,
I'd like to advertise that since I have ZERO rooting interest really in
either area, my vote for love of your particular region can be had!

What
are you prepared to offer me Jersey and Long Island? Your reward
is a lifelong devotion and defense of your area!

The traffic in both suck!
Whats wrong with 3 hours to get to school on the L.I.E. on Wed. mornings you fuck?

If you want to leave Long Island (and who doesn't?) you have to drive through NYC. There's almost always hideous traffic.

Jersey's not a God forsaken island out in the Atlantic Ocean. While we do have beautiful beaches along the Atlantic, you can drive north, south, or west to get away from it all and never touch the city.

We've got mountains, lakes, and streams aplenty for some great fishing and hiking.

Long Island has flat farmland, kind of like a mini Indiana.

I say forget both of them. It all depends on where you grew up. Everyone always likes where they grew up, but It's all just a bunch of junk.
