But Jay is right.  Most people don't react to it.  I don't think ESD is doing it to get people to react all the time, but I did call in when I heard I was in his stupid little gossip column.I do find the bit funny, but a lot of what he says, much like what he admits on the air, is all made up.  I imagine him sitting in a chair that's way too small for him, around a pink table, having "tea" with his fucking puppets, making this shit up.  Then around 7 pm, Clare comes in, wraps a blanket around him, and carries him to bed.

He was in Jerry Mcguire and Suicide Kings. He had his own sitcom on FOX and he hosted an ESPN sports show. He's also a brilliant stand-up and he's married to Nikki Cox. He's a legitimate celebrity, I'd be ecstatic if he said my name on the air too.

I lost all respect for him when he started calling in like he was to be bowed to and he could just start ranting and treating guys like shit cause he's Jay Mohr. Maybe he isn't intentionally doing this but that is how I'm interpreting it.Even though Dice is washed up and quite annoying now I still wish he would have gotten hold of Jay and beat his racist ass.

Here's something for ESD to try.He needs to give us a report after he uses it. Materials <img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f137/meathookjones/fl_01.jpg" border="0" /> Lays Stacks (my preferance, holds up better)/Pringles potato chip can Foam rubber Condom 1 1/4'' o-ring Scissors Marker Procedure Empty the chips out of the can. You can use whatever brand and flavor you prefer, but we like the one shown here for the container's ergonomic shape and durable, colorful plastic. Lay out the foam and trim to fit the length of the container if necessary. The length of the foam can be up to a half inch longer than the length of the can. <img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f137/meathookjones/fl_02.jpg" border="0" /> Unroll the condom and drop the O-ring inside. If you use a lubricated condom, turn it inside out first, so the lube is on the inner surface. <img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f137/meathookjones/fl_03.jpg" border="0" /> Lay the condom along the foam with the open end slightly above the edge, and mark across where the O-ring lays in the condom. When I started this thread I meant it as a place to "react" to ESD's gossip. Jay Mohr said no one seemed to care what the gossip actually was. He was so right. Noone wants to say anything about the actual gossip, now it has turned into another Jay Mohr hatred thread. Sorry Jay I had the best intentions.

I think if you have the opportunity to act with the likes of Tom Cruise, Christopher Walken, Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, James Caan, Al Pacino, Eddie Murphy...I mean c'mon, you should be allowed to call whomever you want as many times as you want. I don't think Jay is a radio whore he just keeps in touch with his friends. Back in 2004 Darian O'Toole came back to Halifax Nova Scotia (where she grew up) and was doing some radio for a while. Jay Mohr would call her on air all the time. If you were doing radio calls just to promote yourself believe me you would not do it in Halifax Nova Scotia.

I joined the board to post to this topic. Been listening since WNEW, was very disturbed about the talk of them leaving. But........ More on the topic. I find ESD to be so bad most times that I am embarrassed for him. I am amazed by what comes out of his mouth. Therin lies the radio gold. It can't all be an act, or he'd be up for an oscar.The board gossip bit seems to go well. It makes me laugh, so I think he may have found a bit that works for him. It sure seems to make Ron laugh. Some may disagree, but the puppet bit made me want to scream. The bit was actually worse than the voice.
