View Full Version : Doused with LSD - What album do you put on?

Ron woul d listen to the Allman Brothers, Dave would listen to Animals by Pink Floyd or Band on the Run by Wings. I don't remeber Jay.

I think I would listen to Illadelph Highlife by the Roots. I agree with Ron, you would need something to center you and calm you down. Equal Rights by Peter Tosh would work for me too.

Dave's choice is crazy. Animals would have me flying off my building into Miami traffic.

I think if you were actually doused, you wouldn't be able to even comprehend an album.

I would go with Disintegration by the Cure and cross my fingers I don't start thinking about spiders.

While i've never dropped acid or what have you, when i was 11 or 12 my oldest brother used to do it all the time.

I remember coming home from school and knocking on his door for something and he was just laid out listening to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Totally fucked out of his skull going on and on about how he could see the notes floating out of the music.

Along with that he had some Fleetwood Mac, Doors and Jimi Hendrix albums that i guess were just as "magical" to him as that one.

*edit* I did once smoke a quarter ounce laced with angeldust with some friends and the punk music we were into at the time was not the best combination with the hallucinations.

Great call with Passion, I love that CD

Trippiness is not always a factor, sometimes just really good production is key. That being said, given a couple of nice tabs, I would love Queens of the Stone Age - Songs For the Deaf or any of Radiohead's last 3 albums. Thom Yorke's The Eraser would get played as well.
