Unlike SOUTH PARK, FAMILY GUY is one of the least timely of the animated shows - they did a &quot;fat Britney&quot; joke last night, that (after everything in the news lately) seemed like it was telegraphed from the dark ages. At least with AMERICAN DAD they can insert something current into Stan's morning paper during the opening credits, like last night's <em>&quot;Rumsfeld Steps Down...On Puppies Head.&quot;</em></p><p>On the other hand, I do think SNL and Daily Show folks do keep an ear open to all things - a few weeks ago, Jon Stewart did his impression of Joe Leiberman that was the same bit Fez does. </p>
