Police reported that Morgan smelled of alcohol and that he later failed a breathalyzer test at the 28th Precinct stationhouse, Alban said. OK, after getting stuck hearing this bit for the third time today, I think I can definitively say that Fleaman is a complete douche-nozzle.  I generally try not to say inflammatory things on the boards, but I have gotten more furious every time I hear the bit.   “He only posts salt and vinegar chips.”  What a sanctimonious response.  “Message board posters will get it.”  Will we?  How about you explain it for those listeners NOT on the message boards.  What an asshole.  I don’t know the guy personally so I will reserve final judgment, but he sounded like a fuck-tard on the show today.Of course that is just my opinion…

OK, I know I'm not the biggest O&A fan, but I'm listening to the free replay and JESUS, do they sound like crying assholes over not being able to play the "Kramer rap video."  It would be one thing if it was something they or someone on their staff or even a fan had made, but it's some random thing off the internet!  Stop talking about "creativity" if it's some lame shit people can find in a billion different places and has ZERO to do with your show.  I understand it sucks that they can't play it all, I agree that the content restrictions are too strict in recent years, but damn, quit making like this is some kick to the balls over something the show has slaved long and hard over to make.  Maybe it makes me "angry typing guy," but maybe having someone involved with the show make something to be played on the air seems like it would be a lot more entertaining than spending two seconds finding something countless people have seen already and then spending an entire segment griping about how it can't be played on air.

The more things change, the more they stay exactly the same... i think its because they both have such a huge drive to put on the best show they can possibly create.  by having freefm clamp down on them harder than even the FCC, i believe to them its like telling an artist they cant use the color red.   not being able to play the song is just one example of the bigger problem - that is how it has to do with the show.  again, i dont know them personally, but im willing to bet opie and anthony want to have as much freedom with their art as possible, and they arent gonna let some 'suits' take away their creativity.  and again, this is about more than just playing that song to me.  i think this has been building over time.

i think its because they both have such a huge drive to put on the best show they can possibly create.That's basically my point...they didn't create anything here.  They're spending almost an hour griping about something they have nothing to do with.  What's stopping them from someone on their show making something similar?  Again, I agree it sucks that they have to be so careful, but I think it's ridiculous when "big time radio personalities" like Stern and D&M and O&A bitch and moan about shit like this when all it does is highlight how they put less and less effort into their shows as they get more famous and more rich.  It's hypocritical to bash Stern's show saying that it turned into him always complaining about his bosses and censorship when O&A end up doing the same thing.Bottom line, they're getting worked up over it like it's something they worked hard to get onto the show when it's so obvious that's not the case.  It's a shitty little bit of internet humor that probably took them 2 seconds to find.  Get over it and play it on XM.  They're talking like not being able to play this thing that's already so done with thanks to sites like YTMND.com is depriving them of massive amounts of listeners who would sit huddled around ye olde radio, eyes wide and jaws slack as the "edgy" content flies through the air.  "QUICK" they shall cry, "GET YE TO THINE WATER COOLER AND DISCUSSETH THE KRAMER RAP!!!  NEVER BEFORE HAVE MINE EARS HEARD SUCH HAPPENINGS!"  Sorry guys, that's not the deal.  You might as well be bitching for an hour over not being able to read one of those retarded e-mail forwards that gets sent to billions of people.  The larger issue is something pretty shitty, but complaining about it on the show like they were has been shown to do jack shit except bore everyone but the diehards (see Stern, Howard).

They did allow "the suits" to tell them what to do...they didn't play it.  Yes, I understand why they couldn't, but let's not act like "O&A aren't going to let some suit tell them what to do," because they WILL let some suit tell them exactly what to do.  99% of the time the "talent" will do exactly that.  Shit, the best argument I can see against corporate interference is how boring and annoying it is sending your "shock jocks" off onto these extended tangents of bitching over meaningless, overexposed bits of "e-humor."If they want to complain, go for it.  Not everyone is going to find it all that exciting and more than a few will easily see how hypocritical it is to bash other radio shows for doing the same thing.  Do some more show prep, make your own fucking shit and quit bitching over and over and over and over and over again about not being able to play some ridiculous little bit you found on the internet.  It's basically complaining that their bosses are making it harder for other people to do O&A's work for them.  It would probably hold a bit more weight and be worthy of the time spent if it was over something that the show actually had to work to ready for air.  It's like me crying nonstop if I went to school and a teacher gave me a bad grade for someone else's paper I found in the street and turned in as my own.  Yes, I know O&A never tried to spin this Kramer rap as their own, but goddamn, spending that much time complaining about not being able to play it seems so spoiled and lazy.But hey, I must just be "angry typing guy."  There's no way any of this could be valid, right?
