And his wife was a really interesting woman. RIP, Dave.</p>

<p>Man, that's sad. As the proud owner of Giant Size X-Men #1 and X-Men 94 thru ??? I fell in love with the "new" X-Men back when I was a kid. </p><p>It's sad he never received any compensation for the sensations his characters became. </p>
