Ok I'm not a gay man in any way.   I love Dave's energy; however, he's a total idiot.  Being twenty-eight or so, his knoledge on many subjects are parallel to a fifth grader just hitting puberty.  I expect more out of him. He makes me laugh, I think it's out of pitty, or  could it be geniuses??  I'm not a smart man but I know more then Dave when it comes to intelligence about normal life things.

I think it's just a gimmick. I think he acts like that and says things that are thought out well in advance in order to create the most amount of reaction possible, positive or negative. Dave is Brilliant!

I think his stupidity is mostly an act. He just says shit without thinking that he couldn't possibly believe. His brand of stupid is just too idiotic to be believed. But it is hilarious.I think he's a relatively smart guy, not a genius or anything. Dave is smart in a Ted Bundy kind of way.

I guess a case in point would be the turtle calls, he keeps getting through and everytime has a 'one and done' line that sends Dave into a frenzy. Dave's reactions are gold every time, so I'd have to think that he does know what works and he just goes with it. Which is why turtle gets on and Dave lets him get his statement out. If it were any other way; the moment Ron says "Turtle, Turtle you're on Ron and Fez" Dave would cut him off and get his cuts in before Turtle could say his line.It Just works.

How can you expect a promotion in radio after admitting to having sex with a dog? I think he is probably slow, that was not a smart move.

sorry i haven't posted in a day or two, is there a new rule about us having to start posts with Ok, I never blew a guy.. Dave is the bit. His life, the way he thinks. I worked in radio and concert production with alot guys like him, and they were all very smart, just a bunch of fucking wierdos.  I wonder(ed) how they did it, how they make it day to day cause they are always one step away from tragedy, but somehow seem to never have the piano land on their heads.

As to BetIDon'ts challenge:Your score was 27 out of 30. That is an excellent score, you would have a very strong chance of passing the Mensa test and joining Mensa.   I wild-guessed right on three and even though #13 was one of them I still think its wrong.As to the original question, Dave is smarter than he lets on but not as smart as he secretly believes he is.Just like the rest of us.
