I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are on frequent caller and old school curmudgeon the Blowhard. Back in the day he was known as the Heckler, and he seemed a lot more affable. Now he's nasty as cat shit.

Which incarnation do you prefer?

I never heard him before as Heckler, but I really like his calls. He's smart and gives a cool perspective. Argumentative, but quite civil.

Little known fact: Heckler is my father.

I like Heckler better because he sent me a really nice email once a little after I joined. I thinking I was talking about the WTC protests or something.

When did Heckler become the Blowhard. I know when he was Heckler he was a face. Now as Blowhard he seems to be more Heel. Was there a show where he was dubbed "The Blowhard"?

Wasn't he originally the Cleveland Heckler?

Or am I confusing him with Fez's character the Cleveland Steamer?

In any case, as Heckler, The Blowhard or even I can tell you geting old is overrated. Okay, let's get this straight: Heckler is dead, he was a trivia- obsessed pillhead who was listening to R&F late at night and was crying to "Closing Time". Blowhard is the real me: cranky, living in the past and having no faith in the future of mankind, and waiting for the end of days. You could also throw in extremely constipated despite Metamucil, and a yearning for the days when life was a Norman Rockwell painting. As for the name "Blowhard": it was coined by Ronnie B. personally, and hey, I gotta be me. By the way, "nasty as catshit" Gvac? And what kind of name is Gvac? I say we deport you, Latka.

We are talking LEGAL PRESCRIPTION DRUGS here, Mojo, and everyone knows that they're harmless. Better living through chemistry!

Oh yeah, a big thanks to all of you(especially the old timers) who chimed in this thread. I think the board is coming back, now only if Pootertoot (the boy wonder), starts posting once in a while, this board will conquer the world!

I turn 65 next month. My ballsack is lower than my knees, I'm as blind as a bat and I hadn't had a decent bowel movement since the the Nixon administration. However, I'm filthy rich, so girls, come and get your prize.
