As I drink my shoprite brand seltzer, I'm thinking about the thread Alice made about her favorite brand. Is there something I'm missing? Isn't it just water with bubbles? Or is there a higher quality of the bubbles? Or does it all have to do with flavor? Please advise.

The two things I notice from seltzer to seltzer <strike>is</strike> are what you might call 'bubbles per square inch ' and salt content. Some have huge bubbles like Vintage and the better ones (Perrier?) seem to have more smaller bubbles.

This actually brings up a very early memory. I guess the best seltzer I ever had was at my grandmas in Elizabeth, NJ way, way back. I remember she had it in a bottle that looked like this. I think she had it delivered like milk.

Let's send the boys' gift to ol' Satcam

I think Vintage makes a nice gift basket that includes exotic flavors such as Madarin Orange and Wild Cherry. Who wouldn't like to find that under the ol' Christmas tree?
