i can't be the only one who's bummed by ron's repeated dismissal of the big east conference (football division). now the top three members are in big bowl games, and still nothing. i just saw that there are lines out for all the bowls...and the big east teams are favored by at least 7 points each! hopefully all three will perform well and earn some vindication for us poor maligned north-easterners!

the main problem always has been that in the nyc area theres no dominant hell theres no decent team in football

at least rutgers is an up and coming team and i guess other than syracuse who i dont think have ever been good or in title contention you could root for penn state but even with them until the last 2 yrs its been like 10 yrs since they were in the mix

The Texas Bowl is a big game? And the Gator Bowl? I assume both of these bowls had tie-ins, so regardless of who finished 2nd and 3rd in the Big East, they would have gone.

If all 3 teams win, that will say something, even though the teams they are playing aren't great. Definitely an improved conference, but sustain it for a while and the accolades will come.
