<p>What do you think about that? Just curious, I'm newly married and we've had some discussions about this. </p><p>I'm not talking about friends you both have and spend time with. I'm talking about a friend that you or your spouse regularly talks to on the phone/email, spends time ALONE with that person, etc.</p><p>Sorry if my choices sound weird but there's not much room to type in those fields. </p>

<p>Here's my take....</p><p>We're both whores, men and women. Sometimes you find relationships where the man cheats and sometimes you find a relationship where the woman cheats. But as already stated in this thread it comes down to two simple concepts, trust and security. If you claim to love your partner as much as you do, then you SHOULD be able to trust him/her under ANY circumstances (though that doesn't mean your partner won't cheat). You should also be secure enough in your relationship to know that even if offered your partner wouldn't cheat. It's not a perfect scheme, because you can always get bruned trusting someone but if you're in love that's a chance you have to take. &nbsp;</p>

Actually, friends of the opposite sex can really help in a relationship. There are times you just dont get your partner, and they can help you sort things out. It all comes down to trust, and if you dont have that, then the problem isnt the friend, its somewhere else.
