Admin please remove..</u></em></font></strong></span><span class="head"><strong><font size="1"> </font></strong></span></p><p><span class="head"><strong><font size="1">Not sure if this was brought up on air on O&A or R&F</font></strong></span></p><p><span class="head"><strong><font size="3"><font size="1">Read below or hit the direct link :</font>*><font face="Verdana" size="1" color="#810081"><a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/12-12-2006/entertainment/story/479192p-403116c.html" title="http://www.nydailynews.com/12-12-2006/entertainment/story/479192p-403116c.html">http://www.nydailynews.com/12-12-2006/entertainment/story/479192p-403116c.html</a></font><span class="head"><font size="3"><strong> </strong></font></span> </font></strong></span></p><p><span class="head"><font size="3"><strong><u>Funnyman Di Paolo grabs some Free time</u></strong></font></span></p></td></tr><tr><td><span class="subhead"><br /></span><p> </p></td></tr><tr><td><span class="bylinename">By DAVID HINCKLEY<br />DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER</span> <p> </p></td></tr><tr><td>*-- Component: NYDailyNews : component/story/picture.comp -* <table border="0" cellspacing="10" cellpadding="0" width="50" align="right"><tbody></tbody></table>*-- Component: NYDailyNews : component/story/picture.comp -*<span class="bodytext">Comedian <strong>Nick Di Paolo</strong> was apparently so eager to start his new radio show on WFNY (92.3 FM) that he announced it before the station got to it. <p>In fact, a spokeswoman for WFNY's parent, CBS, still didn't confirm yesterday what Di Paolo had posted on his Web site: that starting Jan. 2, he will host noon-3 p.m. daily on Free-FM. </p><p>The spokeswoman did confirm, however, that he will be giving previews 1-3 p.m. daily from yesterday through Dec. 27. </p><p>Several sources close to Free-FM indicated the station will also have more changes in January, making the daytime lineup more consistent with its goal of reaching young men. </p><p><font style="background-color: #ffff00">The biggest other change, reportedly, is that <strong>Ron</strong> and <strong>Fez</strong>, who are now heard on XM Satellite Radio and were on WNEW-FM when it was a similar kind of hot-talk station, will be coming to WFNY for early evenings, 6-9.</font> </p><p><strong>Opie</strong> and <strong>Anthony </strong>will remain in the morning, 6-9, followed by <strong>JV</strong> and <strong>Elvis</strong>, 9 a.m.-noon. <strong>Leslie Gold'</strong>s show will shrink slightly, 3-6 p.m., and <strong>Penn Jillette</strong> will move to 11 p.m. </p><p>Late-evening and overnight shows are also expected to be added. </p><p>Di Paolo is a hard-edged comedian who's popular on the club circuit - he's doing Standup New York this Friday - and has been a frequent guest on late-night television. He has also been popular on <strong>Howard Stern's</strong> old K-Rock and now Sirius Satellite Radio shows. </p><p><strong>MORE SHEP:</strong> The reissue company Radio Again has released two new audio collections of Jean Shepherd's radio shows. </p><p>Shepherd, best known as a late-night raconteur on WOR (710 AM), died in 1999, but resurfaces at this time every year because of his now-classic 1983 film "A Christmas Story." </p><p>The new audio releases include "Jean Shepherd: Life Is," with eight shows on eight CDs, and "Jean Shepherd: Security Blankets," with four shows on four CDs. </p><p>These are programs from the mid-1960s, which Radio Again says were discovered during a recent warehouse inventory. They include liner notes by Shepherd biographer <strong>Eugene B.
