The Phrase "PRIMUS SUCKS!'', is no longer used by the band.   Les Clypool denounced the phrase a few years ago.  I guess the grew tired of it.

The fans still tend to say "PRIMUS SUCKS!", but the band itself does not say it anymore. Les Claypool used to say it at the end of the concerts. He would say "Thanks alot were Primus and we suck". PS: Primus rocks!!

One of the best Primus shows I've ever seen.Buckethead opened up during his "Monsters and Robots" tour.So good.

I thought they were like a good novelty couldn't go see a whole show. Isn't this more entertainment than eveverything ron and fez ?

liked a few songs, never seen them live, and now most people only know them as the south park theme song guys

For anyone that wants a good starting point, I'd recommend "Sailing the seas of cheese", or my favorite, "Tales from the punchbowl".I saw them live in '93 opening for U2, along with the somethings something of hiphoprasy or whatever.  I remember back then they were on the cover of Rolling Stone with the headline "Primus Sucks"Great showand U2 was alright too i guess

i never saw les play with sausage, but a friend told me the crowd started chanting "sausage sucks!"  les's response?  "no, primus sucks.  sausage is just...mediocre."  wicked cool.
