Why is this guy getting a radio show? I know he's a comedian whos been around for a while, but this guy has no track record and shouldn't have a show at all.

He did a test show on WJFK with Colin Quinn for a week a while back. It wasn't bad.

He always made me laugh, I'll give him a shot if I happen to be listening in a car without XM.

Hell, they gave that burn out Breur a show on Sirius, give an actual funny comedian a shot too.

I've never been a fan of his standup, but FreeFm is hurting for new radio talent, so why not give him a shot.

My guess is his show will probably be very similar to his appearences on Tough Crowd.

Give the show a shot before you bash the guy. It could be good!

He is a "friend" of mine on myspace. I like is stuff alot. When he sent his bulletin annoucing his trial daytime slot for Free FM I sent him an email. He wrote me back:

thank you angelina

nick d

I think tha was really cool. He didn't have to write back. I heard a little bit of it since it's on while the buddies are on right now but what I heard I really liked.

I've had a loaner car the past couple of days, and I've listened to the "sneak peek" of his show during lunch. I actually got a few good laughs out of it. Sounds like he may need someone else with him in studio to play off, but I can see him putting on an entertaining show.

I heard a little bit of his "test" show. It was really funny... The guy is a pro and they will surround him with "radio people" so to say. I like the idea. Plus its cutting an hour off of JV and Elvis, and two one hour shows that really don't fit on the station...

O & A 6 - 9

JV and Elvis 9 - 12

Nick 12 - 3

CBC 3 - 6

Ron and Fez 6 - 9 (unoffical)

not a bad looking line up to start 07 (a little thin in the middle) when you consider what it looked like in Jan last year

His act is fuckin hysterical but a lot of times his comments in real life just make me cringe. He and Colin had a tryout show on JFK when the boys were getting ready to leave for XM and it was really awful.
