I'm curious, coz I've made the mistake before of thinking I loved someone when it wasn't the case. So to those who have a special someone and have for quite some time, whats the tell tale sign?

Sure.. love is definitely all those things listed prior to my post. Missing them even though they're right next to you. Lying in bed and wishing you could just melt into them in some non-gross form of osmosis. Cracking jokes and being able to just look at each other and know what the other person is thinking.. and then bursting out into laughter for the very same reason. Having a partner in crime, a budday, and someone to listen to Ron & Fez with after midnight while sitting in a makeshift tent that you set up in your living room. But its been my experience that really loving someone is knowing them first. Being friends and learning about what makes them tick.. or ticked off. At this stage in my life, though, overcoming adversity has become the pinnacle and deciding factor about a person. Whether you're a platonic friend or the object of my afffections, I need to know that you possess the strength to help me through the toughest day in my life. Everyday I encounter assholes, morons, and situations that make me want to rip every last hair out of my head.. and the person I love the most is the first person I think of when trying to eradicate negativity. I've been blessed with a best friend that knows the me that I didn't even know existed.. and that's because I am a better version of myself when we're in each others company. Now to me, that is love.

Oh, and knowing their BM's. That's pretty damn important, too.

"You'll just know" has been said so many times, I'll try to add something else. When someone does something that used to drive you nuts, but somehow you dont care anymore.

Jack to that special someone. Run a batch. Use your imagination. Then after jacking imagine they're still hanging around. Do you still want them around? Or better yet...Imagine they're bitching about you cleaning up your place or something like that. Imagine them waiting for you to get home from work and taking your check. THEN decide. Do I really need this person around all the time? Or will a whore suffice? Then repeat.

I think you will know, its hard to explain. I have been in love 2 times and both times I knew it, but they were different feelings. Good luck and if its love hold on to it.

My question is, how long before this love thing kicks in? Is there a time when you feel as though you should have felt 'it' by now? I am so clueless.

When you can take a dump in front of someone with no shame. And I'm not talking regular dumps, I'm talking tough, sweltering constipated dumps or melty, liquid diarrhea ass explosions.

When I go to bed with headphones on to catch up on O&A, R&F since they offend her. She's older than me so I'm not going to force my profane shows on her. I enjoy shock jocks and horror movies and she doesn't. It our only difference really. We're getting married this spring regardless because she is really awesome. Love is great. We always talk about how little time we will have together on this Earth. I'm 38 and she's 43.

(I have tried to turn her on to Ron & Fez but every time I turn on XM, Ronnie is saying "fuck" or "rape" within a MINUTE of me turning it on. I just can't win! I wish I knew my Sweety when R&F were on WNEW because she would be hooked and would probably overlook the profanity used willy nilly now)

I'm so happy to find a beautiful, classy girl with high moral standards that cares about me and my feelings.

I just hope she NEVER comes to this messageboard. I'd be in trouble! Oh boy!
