Why do some OandA fans hate Ron and Fez fans so much? WHat the hell is happytypinggirls problem?  Has anyone heard her on Paltalk? I can't list to that room anymore...  Someone created a Ron and Fez room on Paltalk.... Ron and Fez Xm 202.  Anyone want to check it?  Saint

O&A fans don't hate Ron & Fez.I'd say O&A fans have generally been supportive of Ron & Fez, from all the boards. There's a select few that bitch about Ron & Fez taking up air time for another O&A replay, but by in large, fans of one are fans of both. Now, if you go to FBA or Wackbag or the O&A PalTalk room...they're always going to like O&A a little more than R&F...and the reverse is true of this place and RonFezShow.netBut there's no anti-Ron & Fez movement by O&A fans that I'm aware of.

What I've never understood about this board is why it's OK to hate, and vent about anybody, whether it be the Pope, Stern, George Bush, Derek Jeter, Eli manning, etc ... but its " taboo " to hate on O&A ?I understand that the idea of the board is not to hate on colleagues of R&F but I dont see why at times it appears as though O&A are coddled.I dont ever go to their boards so I dont care what's said over there.

I like O&A, but every so often, I have problems with their show. I've never been stopped from talking about it here. Does it get a negative reaction from a lot of people? Yes, but that's because the majority of the people here like O&A and are going to stick up for them. There's nothing wrong with that at all...and I don't think just because that happens, it means the subject is taboo.

MIKEYBOY-    A couple of days before the party, East Side Dave asked Jon and me if they could reserve a table near the window for members of the Ron & Fez and Opie & Anthony shows to sit, eat, and leave bags, etc. We accomodated. That table and area in the corner was in use long before Opie showed up for just those purposes. Opie showed up and went to that area, and to the best of my knowledge, the only thing that changed was that Master Po started keeping an eye on that area. His job is security for O&A, and O&A have a pretty rabid fanbase, so he was just doing his job. Master Po, probably by his own admission, is pretty no-nonsense and and intense guy when he does his job which can rub some people the wrong way, but I don't know of any issues at that point.

you're right it was a mess and they know that now. The problem was the space. I wasn't there but they know now about getting a larger room for events. The fan base has grown.ESD invited FBA on the air!

I wasn't there either obviously being from IL so I don't have any idea about what happened besides the info I got from a couple threads.  It seems to me that it turned into a party for everyone in the NY area that is into R+F or O+A.  Next year they should try to either keep it as low key as possible or go balls out and move to the hard rock.  People were expecting it to be a RF.NET party and it ended up being much bigger.

It got bigger because we expanded it for the drinking contest.  The problem I have is that a group of people who aren't paid members (or interns) of the R&F Show or O&A Show decided that they were entitled to be "behind the rope", which turned a corner set of table made available to the two shows  into a makeshift "VIP" area.  We had no intention of creating any type of VIP area other than a set of table made available to the two shows.  I know there are people chomping at the bit to blame this on FBA or Wackbag, but the majority of people from both sites there didn't feel it necessary to be included in what became the VIP section and acted pretty cool.

I wasn't there but I can only see this as a positive thing, Mikey and Jon helped organize a party that was so badass that people who don't post on this board wanted to go, HAD to go to. I say congrats to rf.net on organizing a party that was so widely accepted as the thing to do this weekend.  Now "LETS GO STREAKING!!!!!"

each board is like a branch of the military for opie and anthony, the presidents ron and fez are like the vice presidens and each board is dedicate to one or the other, but when a fucko needs to be dealt with all the boards would unite for a similar goal, ok i know I dont make sense now due to smoking too muchdoesnt make me a bad person ignore this, I am going to pass out

As far as the VIP section goes, I don't understand what all the anger is about.  I've stayed out of the discussion in the other threads, but since this thread seems to be directly talking about me, I'll be happy to explain.   I actually went to that area before there were any roped off or blocked sections early in the night, with Keith and Mike.  (normally the O&A security team-- just two off duty nice guys going to the RF party on Saturday-- who left very early, and had nothing to do with people being bullied) When that area was being blocked off, I went to leave and was asked/invited to stay.  I did not push my way there, nor did I stay there because I felt entitled to VIP treatment.  FAR from it.   Had I known that my presence there would cause so much anger, I would have politely declined.  FYI,  I was the spy cam at the HSS, and do a ton of stuff to support the show (some have called my devotion to the show lunatic) but believe me, I don't do any of those things to get vip treatment, nor do I think that doing them entitles me to it.   I did not 'talk my way in there' or sneak past because I think I'm a celeb.  (typically, I am in the Mikey Boy role of organizing/hosting most of the fan events, or doing stuff behind the scenes, and I never call the show or push myself to become a part of the show-- so i definately do not think i'm a celeb)  When I was invited to stay in the vip area, I never once for a moment thought it would cause an issue to accept the invite.    I realize that Ron and Fez parties don't usually have VIP areas, but think of it this way.  If you were at an O&A party, and there was an "area" where the RF crew was hanging, and your friends from RF asked you to hang out there, would you have thought it a problem to hang out?I didn't see any problem.  Hope you understand. I did not push my way there, nor did I stay there because I felt entitled to VIP treatment. FAR from it. Had I known that my presence there would cause so much anger, I would have politely declined. FYI, I was the spy cam at the HSS, and do a ton of stuff to support the show (some have called my devotion to the show lunatic) but believe me, I don't do any of those things to get vip treatment, nor do I think that doing them entitles me to it. I did not 'talk my way in there' or sneak past because I think I'm a celeb. (typically, I am in the Mikey Boy role of organizing/hosting most of the fan events, or doing stuff behind the scenes, and I never call the show or push myself to become a part of the show-- so i definately do not think i'm a celeb) When I was invited to stay in the vip area, I never once for a moment thought it would cause an issue to accept the invite. I realize that Ron and Fez parties don't usually have VIP areas, but think of it this way. If you were at an O&A party, and there was an "area" where the RF crew was hanging, and your friends from RF asked you to hang out there, would you have thought it a problem to hang out?I didn't see any problem. At the risk of sounding harsh.... I'm not a paltalker or really much of a board user but I get the general impression that some of the board folks (one who uses a keyboard with glee as an example) has fallen in love with the attention they get from paltalk etc.  I find the whole thing a little silly and honestly a bit like a bad middle school locker section.  I have no question that paltalk is fun and lord knows in college I spent a silly amount of time playing on-line games but at some point people need to come back to reality.  Showing your tits & arse on paltalk doesn't make you a celebrity. Peace.

I really wasn't trying to insult anyone.  My only point was that I think some folks get carried away with the attention they get on paltalk and the boards and start to believe their own hype.  I see this sort of thing in professors all the time.  The students kiss your ass and you start to believe you really are the shit.  My apologies for suggesting you flashed on paltalk.  I mistakenly believed that to be the case.

OK, I posted this a few times and I'll say it again, I created the Ron and Fez Big ASS room on Paltalk because of the O&A fans who bitch when we talk about Ron & Fez in the O&A fan room. I personally like Ron & Fez better and I wanted to be able to talk freely about a show I like without having people bitch about it. I'm an admin in the O&A room, but I thought it would be nice to see Ron & fez get a room too. I made JustJon, Alkey, Silera, Frenchy, BobbyPantera admins as well as a few others in the room. The room is open from 12PM til 9PM now(it was 12 til 3PM). Anyway, feel free to come in the room if you have Paltalk, we really try to have a good time in there. Search for "Ron" or "Ron and Fez" with adult content on.
