I thought the end of todays show was the best half hour or radio ever. Ron discussing with Al Dukes whats allowed on air on FreeFM and whats not allowed was classic stuff. It really brought me back to the past but with an xm twist. I'd love if they made it a more common thing like once a month or something.

Really brought it back to the days of being at WNEW, there's Billy on the Phones and writing a bit on the Computer, interns running about, Earl nowhere to be found, and Al, quietly doing his thing in his quiet way, until you feed him some booze on-air.

Best on-air Al moments [besides drunken kiss]:

-The Blind Date w/ Stalker Patti

-The Night of Fights when he fought, specifically, during the pre-show, when Al kept saying he wasn;t going to go outside in that crowd and fight because, of all things, it had rained, and it would be slippery. His insistence at this had me literally wanting to crawl into the speaker to strangle him.

The Slow Burn, whether it was himself, or causing it in others from hearing him, that was Al.

ESD sat in with the boys one day last year, and when they came back for the holidays he ditched the hot dog cart and became a producer. Now good ol' Al sits in, talks about the "good ol' days", and goes over what is dumpable, hmm I dunno, I'm suuuurrrre its just a coincidence. Please disperse, nothing to see here...

Al is the perfect producer to make fun of, but he's just so fun. East Side Dave, he's funny in a retarded, I don't know shit about anything but I stand by what I say kind of way, but Al is all time favorite producer to have the boys fuck around with, because he's so dry, and contrasts so well.

The Fabulous Al Dukes has always been radio gold.

I will say this...as much as I love the satellite show, there's just something you can't duplicate from the NEW days, like a lot of that Al Dukes stuff from the past.

The last 10 minutes of the show when Ron was going over which words were acceptable for broadcast and which weren't were absolutly hillarious.

I hear you ten, but still, the angry Al is radio gold. Plus, wouldnt it be great to get the dump guy cursing on air. We all know how he reacts to those drops.

It took the boys forever to discover the glory that is "Roland", lets get Al out of obscurity and fuck with him a little.
