Batista/Taker is something that I wanted to see for a while since Batista was on Smackdown.Why couldn't they just let Taker win at Mania and then the SD after he could vacate the title,something that Bret wanted to do before the Survivor Series screwjob.

im deathly afraid HHH's injury will mean that i will have to watch Shawn Michaels win the Royal Rumble again. I mean i can't imagine who will be winning it (but then i haven't been watching smackdown so i don't really know if they are pushing anyone as a possible winner). They're slated that night to face Cryme Tyme to defend their tag titles. Edge wants them to leave as real champs. That night during the match, Shawn Michaels costs Edge and Orton the tag titles when he distracts Edge enough to let Randy Orton get double teamed by JTG and Shad so they pick up the one two three and become new tag team champions. They celebrate, are congratulated on their win in an interview.After that segment, Edge is flipping out backstage while Orton is trying to get better. Interesting now with the Undertaker going to Wrestlemania. Does it make it a foregone conclusion that he's winning a belt so he can have one final run before calling it quits or is this finally the end of the streak? With him showing up on RAW last night and now on ECW tonight, I just got an idea. Most likely very far fetched, but I wouldn't mind seeing it if it happened. Was it ever said that the winner of the Rumble could only challenge for one championship? If not, what if they made a Fatal Fourway with the Undertaker vs Batista vs Cena vs Lashley?

Im hearing Taker vs. Cena and Batista vs. HBK.  I think this works, cause you can take the strap off of Cena and no one will really care. Taker keeps his streak and maybe gets to ride a reign for a while.  He really never has gotten that chance, ad HHH isn't there to steal it.Edge had it for a while and no one else deserves it right now.

I think we'll get our first big clue after No Way Out.  2 new rivalries could come from the tag match with Taker/Cena VS HBK/Batista.   My prediction is that Taker will choke slam Cena and HBK/Batista will win...then HBK will superkick Batista after their hands are raised.  There's your 2 WM main events.

Whatever causes HBK and Cena to lose the tag titles will be the thing that gets the focused on each other for WM.  Batista will most likely turn on Taker at the No Way Out PPV.  Tonight I'm guessing an opponent for Lashley's ECW title will be picked.  I'm guessing it's not any of the Originals who will get that title shot, nor will it be CM Punk, who the crowd pops for everytime.  You think they'd notice that, but no.  Hardcore Holly will probably get the shot.

I like the old tag partners that hate each other gimmick. So leading to Mania they will have to keep teaming up. It'll be fun.

What's weird is Cena vs. HBK = Face vs. Face and Orton vs. Edge = Heel vs. Heel. People need to start turning.

Then he can drop to a more serious, freshly heeled Cena in the fall, in a retirement match, and then he goes in the corner of who ever challenges for the title at the 2008 Mania. Hogan and Austi, i never want to see, due to Hogan would have to win.  i never want to see STONE COLD job to hogan.  it would make for some great promos.   your Flair storyline is one that i wish on a falling star for all the time.  i think it will never happen.  vince doesnt care. is there a way that we get the hogan austin match but no one loses, no jobs but the fans dont cry out that they got cheated ???A run in by the Rock.and there ya goits win-win-win

Hogan's basically said if they ever fight and WWE wants him to do the job, they'd have to pay him immensely because it would "damage his status as a draw to lose."So I think if this ever came to pass, WWE would prefer Austin to go over just because he's younger and has more matches left in him. The hang up is Hogan either insists on winning or getting his money. Austin refuses to job for Hogan, and WWE won't cough up the cash for Hogan. So it will probably never happen. If it was going to, it would have happened this year. Hogan only gets another year older by next WrestleMania. I don't think he has much left, even though he hasn't actually tried in a match in 15 years.
