This movie is fucking fantastic. I went into it very skeptical, because it's hard to deny that Sly Stallone is fuckin' old and it could've easily turned out to be a disaster... But my fears were put to rest tonight. This movie is a GREAT time, and often pretty emotionally intense. The match had the theater cheering out loud like it was a live event. Very well done. Bravo Mr. Stallone.

You sound just like the guy who called up Page (sp?) on WFAN a few minutes ago.

I've waited forever for this movie to come out, but it looks like I'm gonna have to wait until I'm in Florida next week to see it.

I really enjoyed the movie and it was almost believable. I just wonder why it was made in the first place. Rocky still has heart and it is a worthy effort. And the rumours of his dimise are premuture.

I just got back from seeing this. Awesome. I loved it. A perfect, fitting end to the Rocky saga. And although I am biased, being from Philly, this movie is just great all around. Stallone goes out on top! At least, for Rocky. We'll see about Rambo.

And tell me those credits just didn't give you chills!!!

Now, if the Eagles win tonight, this will be the best Philadelphia Christmas in a looong time!

I enjoyed this one almost as much as I and II. Nice to see that some writing went into this instead of the 1 1/2 hour MTV video montauge that was Rocky IV. It's hard to post too much about this without spoiling anything. So I'll just say they did a good job in wrapping up alot of loose ends and giving this character some closure. Everyone kind of got what they were looking for in the end. Rocky, Paulie and even Mason "The Line" Dixon left feeling somehow validated in thier lives. Worth the price of a movie ticket.
