Is anyone going to do there last minute shopping at the mall today? If so your best bet is too take someones handicaped pass so at least you can find parking. Good luck. I went to the Newport Mall last night & it was horrible. there was this big fat guy sitting on a bench snooring. I guess he was waiting for his wife.

Paying to park at a Mall -- Reason 465 that I am glad I don't live in a city.

That is absolutely retarded. I live just up the highway from the King of Prussia mall, which is HUGE, and I have never had to pay to park.

It depends. But alot of malls in NY have parking garages that you have to take a ticket and you pay for the time you have been parked there. Some of the outside parking lots are free, but the majority of them are also pay. And yes it sucks BIG TIME.

But has anyone noticed that the stores this year have not been packed?

Yeah, if it's a malldowntown then they have garages. No space for a nice outdoor lot.

wELL THE MALLS WHERE PACKED last night, alot of last minute shoppers out there. But since Newport is close to the path station into NYC, they do not want people to park there then take the train into ny.

Went to the Walt Whitman mall last night and it was packed, but the lines weren't that bad (except for Victorias Secret). Found out I wasn't totally recovered from the flu when I overheated in Lord and Taylor, missing an opportunity for Jeff to buy me clothes (DAMMIT).

Went to Target today and it was a fucking madhouse. Had to park wayyyy far away from the store and it took me a while just to get that spot. Finding shit was a pain in the ass since the place was so packed, but they had every single register staffed and open and I only had to wait about 5 minutes to check out.
