View Full Version : Waiting is the hardest part....

Well, not really a complaint, but just verbalizing ((writing)) my frustration. I haven't heard anything regarding the internship in a little over a week. I hope I get it, but by no means to I "expect" to get it... I'm certain I'm not the most qualified. If I don't get it, sure I'll be disappointed, but I'm not going to hold it against anyone. The longer I've been waiting, the more I've been wanting it though. I guess I'll find out either way soon enough.

Keep in mind too that it's a holiday week and that people may be on leave. That could have an impact on the process.

You're right AJ, I'm just a little anxious because if ((IF IF IF)) I get it, I still have some paperwork to finish filling out for a course I'd have to take to receive credit. I had hoped to have it all squared away before going on winter break. But, nothing I can really do about it, its out of my hands.

Waiting kills you. Back when I was writing full time and my rent relied on getting published, the waiting would drive me to smoke my brains out. I think that's why so many writers become alcoholics

Good luck sweetheart!

Feel free to tussle my hair for good luck. I was waiting on a deal to close that would bring me a massive year end bonus and after 2 months of waiting, it finally came in on Friday - with just days to spare in 2006.

So, I hereby impart some of my remaining '06 luck to you.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. This "holiday" week is a weird week to get anything done.

You want this so much to happen that it's a given!
