since all of uz trek into the city to hang with us, i figured why not have some of us Shleep into The Garden State and have some fun. sooooooo, come on out to:The Quiet Woman Pub557 1st St.Hoboken, NJBetween Madison & Monroe streets.on Saturday night Jan.20th at 9.00.Drink Specials: There are two packages, each run 3 hours.1. $25 per includes drafts and wine only.2. $35 per includes drafts, wine, bottles, and mixed drinks. Basically open bar with the exception of shots, martinis, top shelf scotch and Red Bull drinks. We have to guarentee at least 20 and let the place know by the 15th at 8.00 PM.  This post and event was approved by JUSTJON. Thank you to Furtherman for his help with this.

OK.  I flew in from Vegas on the Red Eye Flight that landed in Newark at 4 am getting no sleep on the plane.  Drove home, cleaned up and got about 1 hour sleep before I had to go into work.My point is I will eventually crash physically.  If it happens early tonight, I won't be able to make it tomorrow because of band practice and other things I need to get done in PA this weekend.But if I last most of the night and crash closer to my usual bedtime I can go out to PA tonight, practice tomorrow and leave early.I really want to come but I might not be able to physically.  I'm gonna try to though.  So don't count me out yet.

I was all set to geo tonight but I have to back out.  About an hour ago my kid came running in crying and all a mess.  She fell while being out in the driveway and busted up her knee really bad.  I cleaned it out as best as I could and bandaged it up, but I just don't have the heart to leave her.

Well, I just got back from trying to get into the Bar.Yea, I circled the fucking place for the better part of 45 minutes, no parking.  The place was easy as hell to find but the parking around there eats dicks.  I went up and down every street for like 6 blocks from the bar and then re-checked.So sorry, I must have passed that fucking place like 10 times tonight but never got it.  Hoboken sucks, I couldn't find a pay lot or garage in that area either.

Moe, you were missed.  you should have double parked like other people did.  if you went down madison street at first st and saw a black and white truck, that was mine and a ford explorer in front of it, that was my friends that came to hang out. A great time was had.  thank you all for coming.  the next one will be soon, and i will try to make it somewhere and see about parking.  There were not any pictures taken, sorry.  i will work on that for next time also.

Just got in from the bar...surprise, surprise...a great time was had by all.  Parking was absolutely awful like Moe said, but once we got there it was a blast.  It's always a great time hanging with the knuckleheads from this board, and I can't believe it took a Brooklyn boy (Stugots) to finally organize a Jersey bar night.  I really gotta hit the hay, but I'll post more details tomorrow.

I just want to say i had a great time last night!  I was a little nervous at first because it was the first time meeting anyone from the board. first i want to Thanks Stugots for setting up the bar night in NJ and FURTHERMAN for making all of us feel right at home.  He is a fantastic Bartender so TTHHHHANNNK YYYOOUU!!I was excited to finally meet GVAC.  not only is he a hansome devil but he was extremely kind hearted and i got my big hug so that was bonus!!!!!!!!!!!! I was happy to meet Angrymissy.  she is so pretty!  i didnt get to talk to her as much as i wanted because the night went so fast!  Mikeyboy and justjon are the sweetest!  I was extremely excited to meet the both of them finally!!marc with a c is a great guy....it was great that he traveled from brooklyn to come out and hang with the jersey people!i was very happy to meet cruelcircus, ralphbxny, earlshog and Jpmnick you rock!!! overall it was a great turnout and i was happy to meet everyone that was there!  Im sad i missed sheepy, but theres always next time!  and im extemely saddened that Moe couldnt find parking!!!!!  you should have at least double parked and ran in for a minute or two!  oh well...again we'll meet nextime!!!!!!! thanks again everyone for making me feel comfortable!!!

Moe...there's quite a few parking decks and lots in Hoboken, but most are down by the Path train.  Missy actually found one on 2nd only a few blocks away from the bar that I had no idea existed.  I parked in a lot right by the Path and took a $4 cab ride to the bar.  Most definitely worth it.
