I'd say you should remove them during an off day most people get sometime after Christmas day, but maybe that's just me.

I keep christmas lights up in my room for soft light all year.

There is a reason why they call it the "Twelve Days of Christmas". The lights go off on January 6th which is The Epiphany or Three Kings Day.

I still have them up, but not plugged in. It's really depressing.

All the lights and decorations came down on the 2nd. It's nice to have the house back to normal.

I can't stand bright lights. I hardly ever turn on the bit triple light on my ceiling fan. I don't have blue eyes but I feel like mine are very sensitive to light as if I did have them.

The Christmas lights fuckin' rule. I always try to get low watt bulbs in other lights to keep the glare down.

my ex boyfriends parents would keep the decorations up all year round. the mother just got to the point where she didnt feel like dealing with it anymore. they had this giatnt room in the front of the house with a big bow window that they never used for anything else aside from housing the christmas tree, so it never really got in the way of anything. it's been about 5 years since we broke up, so i wonder if they are still doing that.

I married a Jew so I don't have to wrestle with such conundrums.
