<p>As much as I gave props to Penn's show, I must say, this show is the polar opposite.&nbsp; It's basically Larry, in a studio, no warmth, no 2nd mic or &quot;characters&quot;, no direction, and just him rambling.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I tried to listen after a recommendation from someone in the listening thread.&nbsp; I gave him a shot last night and tonight.&nbsp; I tapped out after 20 minutes.&nbsp; He had three Doghouse callers in a row, which shows how good he is at motivating people to call his show.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I guess he was a big hit in Atlanta with Eric of the Regular Guys, but this is just bad.&nbsp; I daresay that Roth may have been better.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Well, that may have been me that recommended him. He did have a good groove the night I listened. I'm listening now. Had to wait awhile but he just did a good rant on Louisiana shouldn't be a state because they are not responsible. Did a thing on trying to get his donation back from the Red Cross. </p><p>&nbsp;Oh well, I have heard alot worse, especially lately. And I will say this, he isn't just phoning it in. </p>

Listened for about 10 minutes tonight. I couldn't stand it. Although maybe I'm just spoiled by R &amp; F. I dont listen to anything on Free FM besides O and A and Ron and Fez. Radio Chick and JV and Elvis are the worst.<br />

JV and Elvis aren't exactly terrible but there is most certainly a current of morning zoo hackiness running through that show. especially elvis. Its like the don and mike show from the WAVA days. I love how staples pointed out that Elvis looks like Don Geronimo. Somebody actually joked about DM replacing JV and Elvis to bring the 2002 WNEW line up back - I would love that.&nbsp; Actually I'd just bring back Rob Spiewak, Buzz and soem absinthe. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>How many times does new york have to NOT listen to the radio chick show before they stop bringing her back?&nbsp;</p>

<p>I couldn't possibly disagree more. </p><p>A few weeks before the Buddy's were on FreeFM, Wach's had a trial show (or maybe even a week of shows, not sure - I only caught one) and I thought he was great. I've listened a little bit since he's been on after Penn (though that's past my bedtime), and I dig him majorly. I'm big on the stream of consciousness rambling stuff, and quite honestly respect the hell out of a guy who can carry a show without the 2nd mic to lean on. To each their own. You'll all get your wish of him going away, as I'm sure his #'s stink. I for one, will find his show online when that does happen wherever he is. This is the first show I've gotten full-fledged obsessed with since I first listened to .com at O&amp;A's suggestion all those years ago.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p><font size="2">If you like Wachs, you should check out Adam Carolla's show. The dude really is one of the most talented comedic minds on the planet. Get some podcasts of his show from last year and enjoy. This year he is going thru some problems getting the chemistry to work with Danny Bonaduce, who is interrupting his flow every few seconds. But if you wanna hear a SCARY talented mofo, get some clips of Carolla going on his rants. He makes&nbsp;OnA and most people in the radio biz look like amateurs. </font></p><p><font size="2">I remember Wachs when he was with the regular guys, and he had hints of brilliance.</font></p>
