That's an awful thing to happen. He lives through that shit in Iraq and then takes it from 2 cars!

Not exactly a hero's welcome.

A friend of mine was warming up to this guy who was an ex-marine who served his country in Iraq and did the whole schebang, and he gets back and becomes a firefighter in NYC. He really wants to go out with my friend, bad, calls her alot and all that. Then there's a fire at this dump in the Bronx, some 99 cent store, and he and this 20+ year vet get hit by some falling ceiling and they both die. No one was in the store, they didn't have to save anyone, and it was just a fucking 99 cent store. She's still really torn up about it... Your friend is very lucky sheepy. I'm sure he knows that. God bless him, may he be golden for the next 90 years.

Hopefully, a broken leg and lost skin is all that comes out of this... it's a bad situation, but it could have been much worse.

Sheepy, is there any other information about how serious his injuries are? The article doesn't mention it.

Wow this is almost as bad as the radio host/hero that survived a major drug addiction, various firings and personal drama only to find himself with Earl as his producer.

...seriously good luck to this guy...and the Vos gimmick is very funny

This reminds me of something that happened at work.

I have a bakery, and I hate to kill anything. Even mice. But I have to hire an exterminator, and I do. Its part of the job. But I do feel a little guilty about it.

So one day I come in to work and I find a mouse had fallen into a bucket and couldn't get out. I felt bad for the little guy, so I grab the bucket and take it outside. I turn the bucket upside down, the mouse runs out of the bucket, into the street and gets hit by a car. I just stood there dumbfounded, saying to myself "You cant make this shit up".

Sometimes it just aint your day.

No matter what I run over, be it a stick or a cardboard box, if I'm dragging it I'm stopping to get it dislodged.

the above stories are just more proof that we have to treat eachother better while we have eachother. You dont know whats going to happen when u leave your house, or even when u get out of bed...if u even do that! I'm serious about this, be nice to eachother. Youll be so sorry when the guy youre busting on today isnt around tomorrow to let him know u were just kidding.

Sorry to hear about your pal's pal, Sheepy. I wish him a speedy recovery.
