Yep yep a NEW indy zombie remake. I'm going to see it but I won't expect too much.

Zombie movies may not always be great, but they're always fun! Coming in March...

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrBlGz3EWBs

It was suppose to be out last October and released in 3D - not sure if they are still going to try that gimmick - Sid Haig is in it as a new character.

Yeah I was gonna wonder if this was the 3D one they had planned.

This looks like a very low budget version.

Not the one that'll have Syd Haig.

Wow, could that trailer get any less professional? Christ, that looks like it was done for a high school project.

Yeah it looks really " underground "

I'd doubt if it's even licensed by Romero.

Yeah like I said, it's an "indy". I'll see it just because I love zombies. I even enjoyed "Contagium".

I'm also looking forward to Rob Zombie's retelling of "The Shape" in Halloween. The script is kinda controversial though.

Hmm.. the Tom Savini Remake from 1990 wasn't enough, huh......

I watched Contagium because I thought it might be worth a damn but it was awful.

Children Of The Living Dead was another low budget flick that tried to tie itself to the original story behind NOTLD.

It was equally as terrible.

Diary Of The Dead by Romero might have a nice twist to it.

Zombie's remake/retelling of Halloween has a good cast.

Malcolm MacDowell will be playing Dr Loomis.

There have been so many zombie ripoffs of Romero... the only respectable one was Dawn of the Dead in '04.

It's off the original topic but I just read that they're gonna do a remake of Motel Hell.

That could be good as a goof.

Yeah that 90's remake wasnt bad

Pretty much stayed w/ the formula

Didnt take any liberties ( except at the very end )

Yeah but the 90s version was done by Savini and I'm sure he had Romero's blessing.

I thought John Russo, who written a book and/or screenplay for NOTLD, had done another take on it but he might've just been involved with the 90's remake.

I'm honestly a pretty big fan of the Savini remake, and as a rule I usually hate remakes.
