Why does ESD want to quit the RnF show?

<p>I don't think he wants to quit the show at all.&nbsp;</p><p>Dave may do things that some people find offensive, he may say things that are not quite thought out and he may run his mouth and put himself in predicaments that are far deeper than he ever thought but I believe he is a real good person.</p><p>If this was an unplanned event/ bit then I'd have to say that Dave has put himself out there to find out his approval rate. I know, obviously right? But Dave has some insecurities that he may not be able to deal with as easily as you or I. He truly wants people to like him, some people can say fuck it I don't care if you like me. There is no way Dave wants to leave.&nbsp; Listen how passionate he is when his work gets questioned.&nbsp; Granted he may not be the best in the world at getting shit done properly and maybe realistically he should be let go of his asst. producer postition but I definitely don't believe that he wants to quit the show.

I think Dave definately wants to leave the show...thats why he didn't fight the phone call poll against him...He's in way over his head now with both shows, and it seems theres been more heat put on the staff...This is Dave's way of being able to quit, and try to save face by blaming the listeners....He's had no enthusiasm since Free FM started....It's just one in a long line of Ron and Fez producer burnouts....I think Dave is a nice guy, but its time to move on...

I have also thought that maybe this is a way for Dave to leave the show without quiting.&nbsp; He jumped into it pretty quick, and hasn't fought it at all.&nbsp; I don't think any message board will need to hijack the phones to get him kicked off, people call all the time to say how much they hate Dave without solicitation.&nbsp; Someone is going to have to hijack the phones to save him.

<p>Ron has done so much to sabotage the show. Forced Fez to shave head, even though Fez won the Taylor Hicks bet. The &quot;Three's Company Trivia&quot; mess when he let people win for no reason. And now, having that retard Jay Mohr injure Dave, forcing him to the hospital. Dave is a far better talent than the R&amp;F gives him credit. Earl is the problem. I can understand if Dave is burned out from 2 shows. If he can't take it, he should stick with the XM show (that is, if it's a choice). Free FM will go through another format change undoubtedly and they'll be starting over again with O&amp;A as the cornerstone. Dave's a funny guy sometimes and seems like a genuinely nice guy. Earl just sits there yessing Ron to death. He ought the count his luck stars that nobody made him put his job on the line or it would have been a unanimous firing. Good Luck Dave.
