This guy is just milking his fame and our money. Will Ferrell is funny at times and I must admit I couldnt wait to see taladaga nights even though it sucked. But jesus christ does he have any movies that are different? He keeps taking lame jobs or obscure sports and turning them into movies. Here is another.

Like I said I have seen his movies and they are semi funny, bit only after your bored and happen to watch them 10 times while doing nothing on the couch/. And he plays the exact same character.

Hes the new /bad version of Adam Sandler

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCg1HO4UbTA

Looks good to me. I know it's more retarded stuff from Will Ferrell but I love it so I'll definitely check it out. I know this isn't brilliant comedy by any means though it still gives me laughs.

These two movies are really bringing the term "niche market" to a whole new level.

I really liked Stranger Than Fiction. I haven't seen much else he's done other than Elf which I thought was pretty good too.
I wonder how an actor(and I guess his agent) can read a script and determine just from that that a movie is going to be good. That in itself takes a real talent. I mean you look at how many great movies out there were passed over by big studios and wound up being great movies (StarWars) anyway and and how many ended up being shit (anything wth Drew Barrymore in it). I'm a movie retard tho.

I just saw Stranger Than Fiction (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0420223/)and thought it was excellent. It was different, and all the performances were great. Dustin Hoffman was hilarious.
It's available On Demand now. Check it out.

Wow I hated Stanger then fiction. I was talking to my cousin today about how I thought it was overhyped b/c it was his first semi serious starring role (Will Ferrel)

I only recently got a chance to see taladega nights and it more-or-less stunk, but I saw anchorman last week and it was awesome.

I didn't like Anchorman at first but it has grown on me. The street fight between the rival stations is brilliant.

Will Ferrell has become the new Ben Stiller. Crank out as many movies and fast as you can and make the money. Although he seems like a decent person when he's interviewed, I never found him funny, going back to the "cheerleader" skits on SNL.
But there's not too many mindless movies out there for the guys in their teens and twenties to go see with their friends. Even Adam Sandler has gotten that Jim Carey "I'm a serious actor" disease.
