I'm going gray and it's depressing as hell.  I'll be 41 in a few short weeks so I guess it was only a matter of time, but lately I see more and more of those damnable silver hairs sprouting up all over my head.  I'll take input from everyone, but I hope to hear from some of the RonFez.Net women on this one.  Do you think the "salt and pepper" look is attractive in any way, or do you just think it makes a guy look old?  Also, what do you think about a man dyeing his hair?

who the hell voted option #3?  you bastards!!!  show some respect.   Greg, just go gray.  to me there is nothing worse then a man dying his hair.  i have gray hair on my head and in my goatee and i think it adds character.

Going grey is better than going bald.I've been getting more and more greys over the last couple of years.  No dying for me EVER.

I WISH I had your problem, I started losing my hair at 20. Now 27 I shave the sides, back and some of the top once a week.My dream would be going grey and having people see it.

The Ojibwe tribe in Wisconsin believed that you could only become wise after you got grey hair, and then Great Spirit endowed you with Magik. I'm not 100% if its true or not though.

Go grey Gvac! I think men look great with that salt & pepper look. I think men
who go with what happens to their hair/head naturally without trying to hide it
appear much more confident/sexy than those who dye or combover.

Many thanks to all who responded, especially the ladies.  I don't think I'd ever be able to dye my hair; it's just not me.  It just really bummed me out when I got my hair cut yesterday and there were so many gray hairs in the clippings falling onto that crazy apron they put on you.  I could always spot a few, but it seemed like the percentage really went up this time.  I guess I should count my blessings because most of my buddies are either mostly gray or bald at this point.  I still have a thick mop on my head and it's probably less than 10% gray, but I know that's going to change soon.  Hell, why fight it?  Ladies - watch out for the Silver Fox!

I have had a patch of grey in my hair right towards the front since i was 14. I say let it go GVAC, youll look fine with the grey hair its more distinguished. I hate myself for quoting this song, cause its their worse one ever but:"Oh well a touch of grey, kinda suits you anyway, Thats all I had to say, but its all right"

GVAC I am 41 and have some grey on the sides and it is fine.   We are children of the sixties (hair generation) I would much rather go grey than bald.  How many times have her heard a woman say "Let me run my fingers through your scalp".

I think a little gray in your hair is not a big deal.  I think it's sexy if you pull off the right haircut, something like George Clooney's above.  I'm picturing you now and I'm thinking it looks great on you!  Plus who wants to keep up with the maintenance of dying your hair every 6 weeks?  This doctor I work with dyes his hair black and it looks like plastic fake hair, really ridiculous.
