Normally, I'm quite the gourmand, but we got 4 microwave pizzas for ten bucks at Safeway. There's gotta be some kind of narcotic in these things, it's all I can think about now.

The pizzareas in NY/NJ are the BEST! Especially Bayonne. There's a pizza place on almost every corner.

I'm surprised sometimes, when I find that places that I thought folded decades ago, still exist in other places. It really happens when you go to the Eastern Shore of MD. They still have IGA grocery stores, and ARCO gas. Around here, the big store is Martins (called Giant in other places, but not the same Giant that's closer to DC).

Oh... yeah... pizza.
I agree - they may not be the best pizza in the world, but there is something about microwave pizza that can induce mad cravings. Kind of like KFC; at least once a year I will get an insane desire to feast on Kentucky Fried Chicken. It is an almost unstoppable lust for overprocessed poultry.

Another quick snack that can seep into your blood are Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers. They are super processed and way over priced, but sometimes I just have to get some.

The pizza I mean doesn't need to go near a damn toaster oven or other such archaic caveman tools. It is scientifically engineered to work fantastically in the microwave. What am I, a savage? And it's not about being better or worse than homemade or pizzeria pizza. It's like comparing a Whopper with some of your finer chopped sirloin entrees. It's two different animals completely.
