I just got done watching this. I forgot how funny it was. This has got to be one of the funniest movies of the 80's. The casting was great. It was so nice to see old hollywood do something like this and have so much fun doing it together.

Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Dom Delouise, Burt Reynolds, Farrah (wow she looked stunning in this movie) Roger moore etc

What a great cast and the bloopers at the end are classic. When I was a kid I watched this movie 50 times. It was always on HBO. Its been atleast 15 years since I have seen it maybe 20 yrs. I found myself remembering every line as they were about to say it and laughing my ass off the whole time. Most old movies arent as good sometimes as you thought when you were a kid. This was even better then I remembered. If you get a chance go rent it or buy it, it should bring back great memories. If you havent seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it.

Any suggestions on some classic or old movies that were better 15-20 years later when you watched them again?

Movies are better with time. I spent years looking for one movie I could never remember the name of. Yesterday I remembered Dom DeLuis was in it so I did an imdb search for him and went through his history and found it! Loose Cannons! I'm going to Wal-mart or the Superstore tomorrow to buy it.

Anyone remember the movie that came out in the 80's about a dude with a talking motor bike? The bike was a knock off of K.I.T. but I want to see that movie again and can't remember the name.

i always loved Cannonball run and Smokey and the Bandit. to me, you just look at the cast they seem to be ready to break out and laugh.

I read somewhere that they may remake it. I usually dont like remakes, but it would be interesting to see who they would cast in all the roles. I dont know if the can ever re-create the magic of burt and dom or dean and sammy.

One thing that suprises me to this day is if Cannonball or Smoky came out today it would be rated R(as opposed to PG) because of the nudity. I too saw those movies non-stop on HBO. The scene that sticks in my mind is the topless girls cheering on the race, hopping up and down, boobies going up and down lol

my vote for 25 year old movie that is still great is Friday the 13th. Saw that again over summer and realized what a great movie that is. Not just a horror/slasher film, it really is a very good film. You can almost understand why Mrs. V did what she did. Helps that I swam in that same lake as a Boy Scout at camp No-Be-Bo-Sco.

IMG]http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r65/andyinjersey/camp.jpg[/IMG]

This sign was hung in the Trading Post at Camp.
