At what point do O&A say, "We are leaving early...we really aren't even supposed to be here today, every other radio show has off..." I'll set the over/under at 10:45AM.

I only listened for about 15 minutes. On the car radio, not on XM. I guess it's all starting to sound the same.

I listened for about an hour, they covered someone dying in a radio contest the whole time and managed to get back to the CSI bit. Had to turn it off.

O&A mentioned at 6am, when they were patting themselves on the back for their tireless devotion to radio, that not even Ron & Fez are working today. They said it was because Black Earl was taking off for MLK day, so they decided not to do a show today.

Damn - I wish I were listening to this water intoxication segment live. I looked all of this stuff up yesterday.

It is tough to die from water intocication, and there are a lot of qualifying factors, but it is possible. The main problem is that the influx of water in your system throws your electrolyte balance out of whack and your brain gets screwed up.

That's a quick summary, but you can die from a number of complications.

If you're going to be in talk radio - shouldn't you have a simple grasp of what is on TV? Pop culture? You'll see the ads on TV and the trades. Again - "What About Brian?" Never saw it, but I can tell you what it's about. Their act of "Whaaaat?! These chick shows I know nothing about!" just comes across as tough guy dumb speak.

Sure, they are probably playing it up a little bit, but they aren't too far off. I have a vague idea about what Gilmore Girls is about, but I don't know for sure. I just tend to watch shows that are on cable rather than network TV.

Plus, if the boys don't know everything about the shows on TV right now they can have the callers fill in the gaps.
