I can't stand the "wacky" giggles and, sometimes, blatant cackling (mostly fake) that follows the unfunny comment.

One reason for loving Ron and Fez, they let the listeners react. They don't have that cheesey laughter ... z100 ... and some shows even on FreeFM.

Thank you R+F.

Any other pet peeves of radio out there? OH! and Mouth Breathers!!!!!

Lets not forget Jim Norton. He laughs at every joke he says, especially if Anthony laughs.

Name this show:

Heh heh hee huhu huh huhu aah aah aah

(hint: it's the Doghouse ... from the commercials .. I don't listen)

I agree, Patrice laughs at his own jokes too much but if you ever check out clips of O&A you'll always see Jimmy cracking a joke and silently laughing while he looks around for others reactions... Jimmy isn't bad though.

The one comic that laughs at his own jokes before he gets them out is Anthony Clark. He does it in a manner I find hillarious.

Penn Jillette laughs REALLY HARD at EVERYTHING, whether it be his own jokes or caller's jokes, funny or not.

This leads me to believe it's a phony radio laugh.

And then commercial radio wonders why these shows are losing their ratings.

And speaking of WYSP, Kid Chris in the afternoon continuously laughs to the point that the show is unlistenable.

Doghouse. Worst...show...ever!

I'm listening to Taz(z) on FreeFM right now and he laughs after everything, but I don't care. I love Tazz as a wrestler, a commentator, and I like the fact that his radio show is very simple. He's a regular guy and he just has a nice conversation with his audience. So, his laughing is exempt

But yea, Doghouse. Especially whoever that is that sounds like Woody Woodpecker. I stopped listening to that show though, but god the commercials plauge my iPod FM Tuner every time R&F or O&A are on break.

The Radio Chick Show will cut to commercial only after Chuck says something "funny"<strong emphasis on the quotes- and Leslie cackles at it, has anyone else noticed this? It's so friggin hack!-I think it may actually be worse than the patented zoo or doghouse fake laughter.

This is the reason I have never been able to listen to Elliot in the Morning on DC101. That guy as an incredibly obnoxious laugh, and he laughs at everything.

I haven't listened to him since I lived down in that area about 5 years ago but I used to tune in whenever I got the chance.

Car Talk Saturday on NPR causes me to bolt for the radio to switch the station from that overlaugh-fest. Click and Clack the unfunny douche brothers. It's lodged between two good shows unfortunately
