You gotta enjoy the Midnight Rider. The bit is so stupid it's f-ing hilarious. Listening to Dave struggle to keep that voice and ramble on and on has been very entertaining. I do agree that the bit won't last forever.

I agree I can not stand the Midnight Rider bit.  He sounds like a total idiot and the show lost about 10 humor points when ESD left and MR arrived.

I suppose I deserve what you are dishing out.  In my defense I have been listening everyday for quite some time.  I know what I like and last I checked you were free to speak your opinion.  Are you guys honestly saying that you prefer the Midnight Rider over East Side Dave?   Give me a break on the font size and color.  I happen to like the color red.

I suppose the bit added something new and exciting but in my opinion I really think Dave adds a lot to the show.  He is so easy for Ron to rip on, it is great!   I am sure they will bring him back.  It will be interesting to see how they will go about it.

OK one more thing in my defense.  If you look at my profile I have been a member of RonFez.net since Oct. 17th but have been on the road during the day so I could only listen and not post.  Now I am working from home for a little while and am able to post.  So technically I have been a member for awhile.  Shouldn't I get some credit for that? :)

Here's some first post love for The Rider and another fine week of radio. Hypnotism shows can go either way, though they could not have nailed it anymore solid than today. It was all bonus after the "anyone who doesn't love this bit is an a**hole."Whether it lasts for a week, a month, or whenever Ronnie says uncle; you cannot ask for anymore commitment to a show than what the mystery man behind the Rider has been bringing to the program. ESD was a legend in the making, though this new fella may even be a cut above.Put me a down for an XL.

I admit that I'm not a big fan of the M.R. but now I get that it's a Dusty Rhodes thing... I'm not familiar with Dusty... but popular opinion says it's good.  Between Fezzies M.R. impression today and Ronnie's asshole and "We can bring it to a vote... but when you vote him out we'll have Macho Man as a producer next week." comments...
