<p>I am not sure if this kind of post has already been made or not, so if it has just go ahead and point me in the right direction.</p><p>Probably a long shot for Earl the uber-producer to get any guests worthwhile, but if he had any actual ability of producing a hit radio show such as Ron and Fez, who would you like to see in-studio?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Top of my list has got to be Ricky Gervais.&nbsp; Between him and Ron that could quite possibly be the quickest and greatest radio segment of all time.</p><p>&nbsp;Blast away at the new guy if i'm not supposed to create threads with my first post, leave me alone i'm not that bright.</p>

<p>Well Extras is due to start anytime now on HBO isn't it?&nbsp; Now would be as good a time as any to try and book him.</p><p>Although I suspect Earl is already &quot;right on it&quot;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The only other guest I would love to see on the show is Ronnie Wood, but he is already booked for April I think.&nbsp;</p>

On the whole radio in England is rubbish bot for a couple of straight years Saturdays were a great day to listen to the radio. Johnathan Ross on BBC radio 2 in the morning and Gervais and Merchant in the Afternoon.One of the great things about their show was the music too. Springsteen, Bowie, The Stones. Gervias played all the classic rock stuff and made for a great listen. <p>&nbsp;</p>

The problem with someone like Colbert is that you don't want them on the show doing shtick but you don't want to run the risk that Colbert-as-himself is a boring dolt.&nbsp; There are probably comedians in the TDS &quot;family&quot; who'd make for good R&amp;F interview subjects but I'd stay away from the senior correspondents for that reason.&nbsp; Jon Stewart seems to be someone whose humor comes fairly straightforwardly from himself... I wonder if Ron wants to get that political though.
