When he just misses Al's record he will need a resume for his next job. It doesn't sound too good with your resume having screw up over screw up.Poor Earl, he's breaking down so fast. I really feel bad for him.I can't...therefore I post.

Well I guess those who Can't (Produce) edit out their mistakes in post production so they don't come out looking incompetent for future best of's. The sad thing was that when Sapphire couldn't locate the Board Gossip music Ron shot out a nice line something about "the only one not under, the only one fucking up" and he ended up cutting that line out as well.

That was a really puzzling move by Earl.  He doesn't seem either ego-driven enough to want to "get away" with that mistake or dumb enough to think he wouldn't get called out on it... but on the other hand, how did he not realize that that dead air would be something everyone else would want preserved?  Can anyone else think of any blunders/technical problems that have been edited out for clips?  I can't.  Why start now with this?  Weird.

Ron has a good point when he says that you never hear anything about the mouse freezing up on O&A.  On the other hand you never heard about the phones blowing out either, and I'm assuming that that was at least a big as problem for the morning boys.  Maybe O&A just don't like talking about technical problems on-air.It would be absolutely hysterical if one of O&A's producers was porting into Earl's computer and messing with his mouse while he was trying to do things.  When I was a teenager I used to do that at work once in a while to my boss... he was very lenient.

Maybe the mouse hates blacks. Seriously, I love Earl and I hope he gets to stay with the show for a while, but I hope he can work out whatever the hell he is going through and gets his life back on track.

I'm suprised Earl's Answer to Ron was "I'll try to do better next time."  Or the Classic..."I'll get right on that."  I think Saphire is just tired of looking like the bumbling idiot that always messes up, since Dave is gone and the Rider is on top of things.

I didnt think the dead air happened in the clip played on monday...didn't it happen a few minutes later in the live broadcast??...I enjoy anyone --freezing up- other than me for a change

We have all been using computers now as a daily part of our lives since the mid 90s and do anyone ever remember their mouse freezing, because I sure don't.

Earl is with out a doubt a talented off air producer. i do think he or the show need to try a little harder at getting guest appearances but that is besides the point. I think earl is an asset to the show. You (thread posters) can decide whether that asset is on/off air or both. I disagree with all the slamming of Black earl(sapphire)!

Keep him as an OFF air producer.Sorry, Earl. Either put on a latex mask, or leave the show.I really think they need to give j'dubs a job.  Best on air personality they ever had for the show besides Ron and Fez.  J'Dubs and Giant Brian were terrible off-air producers but were hilarious on air.
