I hate to say it but as a many-years-long listener, it seems the show is just not going in the direction I would like and, if the Ron and Fez show is to be magical again, the hosts need to be replaced.  There's WAY too much talk now about politics, sports, religion, news, film, TV, music, cultural trends, race, sex, love, food, health, psychology, drugs, family, history, science, technology, art, literature, astronomy, geography, paranormal phenomena, goats.Maybe ESD could replace Ron, with the Fez co-host position in rotation with "bits" featuring Earl, Big A, or Bronx Johnny.

I think this show is great. its not news radio but its not shock jock radio. There is some satire in the show and I think theres nothing wrong with that. My advice to you, If you dont like it, dont listen to it. As far as replacing the host, I dont see your logic in replacing the two anchor host of the show. With out Ron or Fez there is no show.

i am crazy or was shower bench just trying to joke around. why is everyone getting so mad? i mean he rules out basially eevry topic they speak about on air, he was clearly joking. Funny or unfunny its definitely not reason to want to cover some one in old people's shit. Ron and Fez probably dont need us to defend them either.   by the way wondeboyskellington2 from WJFK land: just cuz he has very few posts and joined this year doesnt mean he hasnt been listening for years. For instance I started listening in late 2000 but didn't join th board until 6 years later. I do agree that being a long time listener doesnt make a quality poster - because my posts all suck.

i am a new newbie and i agree with the limiting starting threads to people who have posted a certain amount.  200? i think thaqt is much maybe somewhere between 50-100 posts is sufficent. plus its got to mean something coming from a newbie poster. plus ya i think shower bench was joking too bad he has stepped in to defend himselfEDIT: maybe we should judge people based on their sheepy points :P

I wouldn't say it was a joke as much as my way of discussing people who aren't motivated to post anything except negative criticism of aspects of the show they don't like.I don't agree newbies should be prohibited from starting new posts.  Presumably most people who take time to join up are fans of one degree of another and it doesn't make sense to alienate them right off the bat by sending the message that this isn't really the more or less official "Ron and Fez" message board but the "RonFez.net" message board.I was surprised at what appears to be a narrowness of acceptable discourse/style, and at the attention to "protocol" just over one little post that varied from being a straightforward comment.  I suppose I could have said it another way:Me like Ron and Fez. RonFez.net do good. Me no like negative posters who only criticize. Me like show topics....but if that's how every single poster is expected to participate, at least for their first X number of posts, it would make for a boring if not ridiculous official Ron and Fez show message board - however awesome a "community" of similar and lockstepping personalities/styles/points of view it produces.  That's what the Young Republicans are for.Thank you and good day.
