I need to find good menswear for the weekend. Business casual, no tie. I have been to Lord and taylor, macy's, Bloomingdales, , even TJ Maxx. I can't find a look that I like so need a place where they take the time to help you. Do they still have those stores around? Anyone know of a place like this? Where do the best dressed guys shop in central NJ?

uuhhh, try Express men. Sometimes they have nice stuff.

Yeah, Express Men might be nice. I haven't had to shop for clothes in a few years and am quite lost

I don't think women will ever understand how frustrating and ridiculous shopping for clothes seems to heterosexual men. I would honestly rather scrub toilets than shop for "casual" or "business casual" or whatever.

I'd be perfectly happy living in a society where we wore the exact same thing every day, no matter what the occasion. Weddings, funerals, parties, whatever. I wanna wear some type of uniform to all of them.

When a chick starts telling me about the importance of fashion, she might as well be telling me she was just abducted by aliens and saw Jimmy Hoffa and Jim Morrison aboard the UFO. It's that ludicrous to me.

Maybe try Brooks Brothers. What you buy will last for a long time. They don't sell crap.
Somerville/Bridgewater area they just moved down the block from the Bridgewater Mall.

GVAC WROTE:
I would honestly rather scrub toilets than shop for "casual" or "business casual" or whatever.

I feel the same way about shopping for womens clothes. I usually freak out half way through my experience, drop all my shit and leave. However I find it easy to look at clothes for my boyfriend. He may not always like what I pick, but It just seems more natural to me than shopping for MYSELF.

Wierd.

Check Men's Wearhouse if they have one in your area. Cheesy commericals, but they actually carry nice clothes and where I'm at, the store staff is always helpful and will spend time with you. I shop there frequently for suits and ties, but I've seen alot of guys come in that don't normally wear business clothing.

i hate to go shopping for clothes but i love to dress/look good, more so if we are going out. with that said shopping is a waste of time, i hate being in the stores around people and i hate trying on clothes that other people dirty balls were in before mine. i do all clothes shopping online now or regina picks up what i need/want.

as for your query:

you cant go wrong with matty's suggestion.

I inherited my father's fashion sense and love of shopping that have made me the fashion plate I am today. Fortunately for Dad, he has my Mom to shop for him and pick out his outfits.

As for me, I just ask for clothes for Christmas. It saves me the trouble of trying to figure out what goes with what.

I recently gained weight so I don't want to buy clothes I might not fit in should I ever get off my ass and lose the weight. So I'm stuck with what I've got for the time being.

For "grown up boys" clothes, you can't go wrong with Mens Warehouse and Jos. A Bank.
